My brother does and says things that I feel are disrepectful. When I ask him to stop, he will not. He seems to think that I am 'different' 'too senstive', or whatever... he doesn't think he needs to stop what bothers me. We are now in our 30's and I have kids. Now he is not respecting my kids or me when we feel we need to ask him to back off abit. It is bothering me more and more and so I emailed him. I told him 4 areas that I felt he crosses our bounderies. He emailed me back and said 'I will try to be a better person. I must really be hard to be with. I am so terrible. etc'. I emailed him back and told him that he is a good person, we just had crossed bounderies and I am so so glad that he heard me! He emailed back and said 'apparently you don't recongnize sarcasim.' I took that to mean he doesn't give a crap about my bounderies. I told him that until he can respect us, he is out of our lives.. that includes us not going to family gatherings...

From the ages of 14-21, the majority of single girls want to do is have fun. They don't want to be tied down or have the rest of their lives planned out for them. Hence, drinking, partying, the sluttish persona, especially the ones dorming in college who have been tied down by their parents their entire lives and are living up freedom.

From the ages of 21-25, the majority of single women want to meet men, but are just trying to get the hang of being an adult. Some will still swing from guy to guy, but actually know what his name is before sleeping with him. They might actually want to start dating. Somemay want a guy who isn't ready for commitment, others may want someone who will build a relationship very slowly.

From the ages of 25-29, the majority of single women may finally want to start meeting the right guy because they had some whole list on what they planned out before hitting the age of 30. They want the best friend/so much in common type and someone who could support them emotionally and someone whom they could build the rest of their lives with.

my husband and I are talking about having kids. I really want to have kids, but my husband comes from a bad family background. He's got a lot of issues. He won't talk about them with me or refuses to get help. He says he's capable of dealing with it on his own. His life is better now. So he doesn't want to think about the bad times. A lot of times when we argue, he gets so angry that I can't handle it and I worry how a child would deal with it. also because of all his problems growing up he isolates himself and tries to isolate me. so I'm worried that the same will happen to our kid. Should i be worried about these things? is it okay for me to feel this way? sometimes I feel horrible that i have these feels. please help!

let's say a guy is not virgin. but a girl is. he knows she is a virgin before they have sex. sex happens naturally, and a condom is used. however, the first time they have sex he doesn't talk much at all..but the second time he constantly asks if she is alright, and tells her to tell him when to stop and when it hurts.

why did this guy treat the second time like her first time?

I am strongly considering going to take care of my 14 year old daughter who lives in another state. Her Dad has legal custody of her and has moved to another state due to job reasons and left her with his Mom. As a mother, I want to step to my responsibilities and take care of my child.

My parents are saying that I should not travel to the other state and just let nature take its course. My child is in a lot of pain and I feel that its my duty to take care of her.

My parents feel that my ex will take advantage of me if I go to live with my child in the other state.

They say that I should just go and pick up my child and come back. She does not want to change schools and move, etc.

How can I be strong and live up to my responsibilities and face up to my parent's opposition? I don't want to discuss it too much with them because they only hurt me by bringing up the past.

I am looking for a dress that was on Bridezillas. It was Angelas dress. The one she wore to the ceremony, not the reception. If anyone has any idea where to find that dress or one that is similar, let me know! Thanx!

My best friend met someone online. They now live together and have been for almost a year. She always seems busy. We had a really intense friendship. It seems almost as if she is so caught up in her home life and what her new b/f likes that there isn't any time left over. We used to go out for dinner once in awhile. We have not done that since last February. I know that she never wants to get married again. And I know that she always says that eventually she will get bored. Do I wait this out? Do I keep reminding her that I am here if she ever needs me? Do I just leave her alone? It just seems so awkward. And I don't like him very much. She & I don't talk about their relationship because it isn't my business. What do I do? We have been best friends for over 5 years and we are both in our late 30's.

My best friend Tam and I love each other, but she says she loves me as a friend. I'm in love with her, and I think she's special. She says she's in love with somebody else, and we only know each other long-distance, so she can't be my girlfriend. I know she cares about me a lot and we have a very special friendship.

Is it possible she would respect me more if I tried to date other girls? Will she someday come to me and realize that we're meant for each other? Or should I forget about her ever loving me in that way? I will try to date other girls, and if I ever love one as much as Tam I will get serious, but I don't think I ever will.

I don't want to be her boyfriend because of the romantic or sexual element, I want to be her boyfriend because I want to share my life with her and I think no girl I ever meet will be quite like Tam.

Hey yahoo answers! I've got a difficult problem that I need help with.

I am a student in high school. My best friend, 'Anna', has liked a boy, 'Dallas' for the past 5 months. Dallas is one of my very close friends and our personalities work well together. Anna has began to falter and now does not know whether or not she likes Dallas. Some days, she'll not even want to talk to him anymore. And what's more, lately I've found myself liking him!

Dallas has shown signs of interests in me, but I don't know if he's for real. Plus, even if our feelings are mutual... I don't want to hurt Anna. She has no idea I have feelings for Dallas.

My question, with all this background info: How can I get closer to Dallas in a different sense than friendship without hurting Anna?

I'm living and working out of town. My cat is staying in the company condo with me. One of the condo services is a cleaning lady coming every other week.
When I got home today my cat was missing, the cleaning ladies had accidentally let him out. My boyfriend was on the phone with me as I walked in and discovered this. He loves that cat as much as I do, so he's terribly upset, which is understandable.
What I don't understand is why he is blaming me! He told me "I don't mean to be judgemental, but you can't have those thieves in your house!" (A few make-up items have gone missing and never turned up after the cleaning staff has been here.) While I have been unhappy with the cleaning staff I don't have the authority to fire them, and I don't think that putting damp sheets on my bed was any indication that they would let my cat out.
Any advice? Either about getting the cat back or patching things up with my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I broke up about a month ago. But after about a week and we started talking and trying to work things out. We still are trying to work things out. I do truly think he is the one for me. No matter how much I want to move on I can't. We have had problems in the past but I am willing to look past that. He confessed his feelings to me first. Like how much he cared and loved me. But everytime he told me I hesistated on saying it back. He knew I cared I just couldn't say that I was in love with him. I now that I think I am I know I messed up! I have been so hurt before so it's hard for me to put my trust in people! I let the last boy get away but if I let him get away I will never forgive myself. I have been telling for the past week now how much I love him and want to be with him. I even told him that I think he is my soulmate!! Is there anything else I can do to show him that I want to be with him. He still cares. What can I do? I really need lots of advice from the males

My last ex I was in LOVE with and now I'm scared to start dating again. I have a great beau right now and I know that, but I just don't know if I'm being fair to him. I'm holding back when he is giving him whole self over to me. I love him, but like I said, I'm holding back. How can I let go of the past and look forward to the future I have w/ my new bf?
