From the ages of 14-21, the majority of single girls want to do is have fun. They don't want to be tied down or have the rest of their lives planned out for them. Hence, drinking, partying, the sluttish persona, especially the ones dorming in college who have been tied down by their parents their entire lives and are living up freedom.
From the ages of 21-25, the majority of single women want to meet men, but are just trying to get the hang of being an adult. Some will still swing from guy to guy, but actually know what his name is before sleeping with him. They might actually want to start dating. Somemay want a guy who isn't ready for commitment, others may want someone who will build a relationship very slowly.
From the ages of 25-29, the majority of single women may finally want to start meeting the right guy because they had some whole list on what they planned out before hitting the age of 30. They want the best friend/so much in common type and someone who could support them emotionally and someone whom they could build the rest of their lives with.

Doesn't sound like any of the women that I hang around but I was always an honor student, went on to graduate school, etc. so maybe I'm not representative of the pool you took your sample from.

There is some truth to the latter part of it. There are two caveats:
1) Girls between 14 and 21 think the guys they're with are going to marry them!! Hence all the drama and tears with each guy.
2) Not all women think alike. Some do these things and some don't. Women can't be understood under a blanket generalization any more than men can be. Would you want to be judged by the actions of all your fellow guys?

I think that is the way that it is supposed to be but the fact is that todays girls are looking for a settle down relationship way before that. They are lacking at home and are looking for love wrongly. Not many girls are going to college either because love is more important. They are finding that by the time they are 30, that they lost out on so much. It would be great if your theory was actually the truth but its not. Where I come from, girls are having babies at 12! Im mortified. Actually my friends daughter just got married at 15. Im just sick. Good theory though. I just wish it was true.

I slightly agree and slightly object. You forget about the determined young minds from ages 14-21 that seek the knowledge and meaning of life from another perspective. But that probably makes no sense so I'll just say there are some others in the age groups in your theory.

That is not a theory it is a stereotype. All women do not fall into an age group. Every person is looking for something different and until you recognize what the woman you're with is looking for you will never figure out any woman because she's the only one who can really teach you.

God! I hate it how the entire population of millions of unique individuals all get tarred from one brush.
I am 26, have never had a boyfriend but haven't "'swung from guy to guy' and have absolutely NO INTEREST in having a relationship. And a lot of my friends are the same.
We've all just finished grad school and are focused on building careers and making use of the 8 years of tertiary education we've put ourselves through -not "meeting the right guy"

I disagree absolutely with your theory, my reasons are because everyone (woman) is a completely different individual, and some may want to get married younger, while some would rather pursue a career, etc...
You are categorizing us all like we all go through the 'stages' of sleeping around etc, as if it's totally normal....while society may be evermore encouraging women to be sexually free, as our counter-gender usually is, this doesn't mean we all fall under societies current rules, as they are ever changing.......each woman makes her own choices, no age bracket can rightfully define us all

I don't know where you have been hanging around,but believe me there are a few left that don't act that way,do you have a problem with women?It sounds like you want a YES SIR woman.Grow up and look in a different direction because i know plenty of women who are not that way and get this buddy they are from the deep south.

you my friend don't know as much as you think. i can only assume that you have some kind of serve to prove your thoughts or is this just the ramblings of a lonely boy. women are not that complicated. its guys like you who make use that way with you silly thoughts.
