I believe that a long distance relationship can work as long as the people are prepared to be involved in a relationship where they are not going to see each other regularly. There also has to be an agreed upon time when one person is going to move to where the other person is. Finally, there should be scheduled intervals when you will see each other. I recently was involved in a long distance relationship, which could not continue because there was no opportunity on either side to move to where the other person resided in the near future. But during the time we were involved in the relationship, we talked to each other daily and we saw each other every six weeks. It was a very fulfilling relationship and despite not being romantically involved, we remain best friends. If a long distance relationship is to succeed, there must be communication between the couple. As long as you are communicating daily, you will have a better idea as to what the other person is doing.

This might be a long story.. but it worked out in the end for my Boyfriend and I.

We were friends for a while and then he moved.. like everywhere so we lost touch. A few years later we reconnected and became best friends. He lived an hour and a half away from me but we talked on the phone all day and night, and on the computer. Finally after a horrible accident he had and almost didnt live i told him i loved him. Well that was in april. What we did was still talk on the phone, wrote eachother cards and sent them in the mail, talked on the internet and had weekend visits sometimes.and well just knew we trusted eachother. Yes it was a very very hard thing to do we made it, and we finally didnt move in together until 11 months later. And we are still together until this day. You just gotta have trust and patience and i'm sure you will do okay.

I do believe... It worked for me and my boyfriend... we met eachother just when we started university (in different places) and since we really liked eachother and kinda were having feelings we decided to give it a shot... I graduate next February and he graduates in april... and we are together and engaged...

Having a long distance relationship is not easy... I wont lie to you... but if you really love that one (or if you think that person is really special) its worthy.. and it gets you throu the hard times just knowing even in the distance you have such an amazing person.

I can tell you long distance relationships should work in a way of you 2 just thinking in future, next time you'll see eachother, what will you do when you are together... concentrate in thos good times and not in the times when you are apart. I can also tell you LDR requires a higher level of commitment and feelings... Its not worthy to try it just if you like a guy or if he just likes you... it might not work... Im sure you can find a guy you like closer, but someone who reaches your heart is hard to find and thats why even thou LDR are diffucult you'll get throu ti because you wont want to loose that.

I have answered a lot of questions like this... and the thing is even thou many persons say it doesnt work... I like to let them know it does work and how happy I am I hung this past 4 years because now I got my baby with me and we are happy :)

Good luck.

Short term yes if you have mutual trust. Time wears you down both parties. Not recommended. As a trustworthy women is extremely hard to find.

No I don't. Being away your love one can't be there for you and will not understand certain things that's going through your heart or your mind. at the same time, you can't give that either. The distance will only hurt both parties
