I'm living and working out of town. My cat is staying in the company condo with me. One of the condo services is a cleaning lady coming every other week.
When I got home today my cat was missing, the cleaning ladies had accidentally let him out. My boyfriend was on the phone with me as I walked in and discovered this. He loves that cat as much as I do, so he's terribly upset, which is understandable.
What I don't understand is why he is blaming me! He told me "I don't mean to be judgemental, but you can't have those thieves in your house!" (A few make-up items have gone missing and never turned up after the cleaning staff has been here.) While I have been unhappy with the cleaning staff I don't have the authority to fire them, and I don't think that putting damp sheets on my bed was any indication that they would let my cat out.
Any advice? Either about getting the cat back or patching things up with my boyfriend?

I think you need to give this some time. You're both upset about the cat - but chances are it will come home on its own. Cats are like that.
As for the boyfriend, he probably was mean, but you were probably emotional. There's a good chance that this will blow over - especially if the cat comes back.
If he really doesn't trust the cleaning staff you might want to contact the person who runs the condos and ask that they not send cleaning people anymore. If you can't do that ask your boss to see if s/he can help.
If your boyfriend is really being terrible about this you're going to have to wonder whether or not you're going to want to go through any more of life's ups and downs with him. He may not be the man you thought he was.

Good luck.
