My ex husband called me the night before he got married and asked me how I felt about it and what thoughts were. My question is WHY would he do that? Why does he care what I think? I don't get it!

I've been engaged since November, and I love my fiance very much, but I met an old friend of his (that he doesn't keep in touch with) on a missions trip with church, and for those 2 weeks we really hit it off and seemed to have chemistry. He knows I'm engaged (and WHO i'm engaged to). Now that we're back, and I seem to have a crush on him (I've even had dreams of him at night), what do I do? My fiance knows that I think the other guy is really nice, and he's a little worried. I DON'T want to leave him, but how do I forget my crush, especially when I'd like to maintain the friendship we created? Is something wrong with me or does this happen to engaged women and it's just pre-wedding jitters?

Just because I am overweight or something? I have a great personality though, I make people laugh all of the time and I am kind and respectful to all women, yet I can't get a date or even hangout time. What the heck is wrong with them???????

My mother-in-law is notorious for threatening people with what they will or won't inherit when she's dead. She apparently has written up a will that specifies this.

When she dies, won't everything just belong to her husband? Or can she say "My husband does not get this... it will go to my best friend. He won't get this... my sister will get it." It seems like she can't really do that legally unless her husband agrees with it.

I feel like I'm more selfconcious and critical of myself after he said this (even if it was meant to hurt). We aren't physically intimate. Can you get over and forget things like this? Will it get worse with more intimacy and actually being naked in front of him?

Why do some people like to talk about themselves so much even when they are not looking for an advice, or comfort or a praise. They simply like to talk about their life all the time. How does that make you feel? Does that make you think: Why does this person need me here? What do you do about it?

I don't want you to think I am evil I just have no connection with my step daughter. I try to be a good step mother I don't spank her she is 10. I am not mean. But I have to be careful there are imes I just wish she was living with her mom. I find myself wanting to ground her to her room so she isn't around. I don't know if I jealous or what. My daughter is 19 and almost out of the house I was pretty much done raising her and now I am back being a mom. I was teen mom so I think I was ready for so me time and thats gone agian . I love my husband but our first year it was no step daughter so maybe I am just a bad person. I don't know but I hate to think Iam a mom for 8 to 10 more years. Iam a mom, maid, and a slave 90% of the time and 10 % a wife 0% me. I had a step mom and she beat us. So I would never do anything like that I just feel bad that I wish she wasn't around. Just wondering if its just me and I m a horrible person or any one else out there like me.

My Ex husband claims to be working FT, but I see at MOST $60 a week (usually more like $20) when curret support is at $450 a month. I inquired w/the child support enforcement officer who notified me that I receive 50% of his paycheck. In WA state min wage is aprox $7 hrly. 7 X 8= $56 with that being said I can only assume that he is working LESS than PT hours.

He provides health insurrance for our son. I discoverd he has to be working a FT (30-40 hrs a week) to receive benefits. So, if I do the math 7 x 30= $210 minimum. I don't understand how he is getting away with this.

The child support enforcement officer says that his employer payroll dept claims I receive 50% of his pay. That is as far as they will go. They will not investigate for me, they take what they can get.

I cannot afford a lawyer but did get a consultation. Apparently there is NOTHING I can do on my own, he is not disclosing information.

HELP, what can I do?

PS He is a server and does not report tips.

Where did this custom come from? How come people who are getting married always complain about their guest paying for THEIR wedding reception plate.

WE didn't have any input in the planning, but they get upset and look to be reimbursed for THEIR wedding expenses. When I invite people over my house for dinner you are my guest, you don't pay for your plate. Well at your wedding I'm your GUEST.

People who are getting married seem to always be looking for someone to pay for something...they "demand" a gift or only want money. I love to give gifts and i thought gifts were unexpected items.

So do you look to be reimbursed when planning your wedding/reception and expect for people to pay for their plate?

I have no idea what to do. My parents and brothers and other family members tell me that I am pretty. But when a boy sees me it's like all they do is run and hide. I feel really bad. All of my friends have boyfriends. Why can't I just get one?

I am getting married in 2 weeks, and i love my fiancee very much, and he loves me so much, but he thinks that my close relationship with my dad is coming between us. I grew up with no mother, just me and my dad, were great friends and understand eachother, i run his business as well, and i never go against his word and respect his opinion. he isnt crazy about my fiancee but he never objected, infact he helped me alot with my wedding. i think my dad is just worried that i wont be his anymore, but my fiancee thinks that i do too much for him and love him more. how do i compromise between the two, how can i keep them both happy?

When your close male friend asks you casually in the middle of a conversation
"what will it take for you to fall out of love with me?"
does that really mean that he believes i have feelings for him, or would it be just a little joke?

It was out of the blue...we joke a lot but none of the jokes involve anything about being attracted to one another, usually, its just something like him taking the mickey out of me or vice versa (eg, i say that he sounds like a girl on the phone)

Our friendship is like every other male/female friendship, we joke a lot and are quite close, and only rarely we flirt (just because we're bored) - we speak on the phone sometimes as friends, but now im starting to think he may believe that im falling for him and so maybe he's trying to hint this to me...do guys do this or am i just being paranoid?

what do you think?

Thanks for any advice, this is bugging me...

P.S. Im not sure how i feel for him
