I am getting married in 2 weeks, and i love my fiancee very much, and he loves me so much, but he thinks that my close relationship with my dad is coming between us. I grew up with no mother, just me and my dad, were great friends and understand eachother, i run his business as well, and i never go against his word and respect his opinion. he isnt crazy about my fiancee but he never objected, infact he helped me alot with my wedding. i think my dad is just worried that i wont be his anymore, but my fiancee thinks that i do too much for him and love him more. how do i compromise between the two, how can i keep them both happy?

As soon as you marry your fiancee HE becomes the new man in your life. He should be number 1 priority - even over you dad. If you can't handle that then I would seriously advise calling the wedding off.

You may not be able to keep both of them happy. Have a talk with each and let them kow that you love them dearly and do not want to hurt them. Does your dad have reason to be skeptical of your fiancee? If your guy respects and honors you and tends to your needs and wants and wishes, tell dad you'll always be his little girl but your first priority is your man, that you can still run the business. Similarly, tell your guy the same thing. Don't tell either they're number one if they aren't and make clear that you have to be happy in this too. Then do what you need to do to be content and satisfied. Worry more about you than about them and you'll be six steps ahead of trying to keep two guys happy who may not want to be happy.

If your fiancee truly loves you the way he should, then he would understand that you love your dad in a different way than you love him. I would try to make that clear to him.
