I've been engaged since November, and I love my fiance very much, but I met an old friend of his (that he doesn't keep in touch with) on a missions trip with church, and for those 2 weeks we really hit it off and seemed to have chemistry. He knows I'm engaged (and WHO i'm engaged to). Now that we're back, and I seem to have a crush on him (I've even had dreams of him at night), what do I do? My fiance knows that I think the other guy is really nice, and he's a little worried. I DON'T want to leave him, but how do I forget my crush, especially when I'd like to maintain the friendship we created? Is something wrong with me or does this happen to engaged women and it's just pre-wedding jitters?

Just because you got engaged does not mean you cant be attracted to another man. I mean come on....Its perfectly normal if you ask me:-) The question is, will you act on the feeling (Like flirt with him)...and risk losing the man you love and who wnts to spend his entire life with you.

It looks like you are questioning your engagement and honestly you may want to look deep and find if your fh is the person you have no doubt what-so ever about. I wont say you arent ready but this is a good time to sit down and sort out your feelings. If you do decide this guy is the one you want to be with and are postive about it, the "crush" will go away.

There is nothing wrong or abnormal about still being attracted to other men while engaged. You just need to make a decision. If you are going all out for your fiancee and comitting your life to him, you need to cut all ties with this friend of yours. Burn your bridges and don't look back. If you cant' do that, then you should NOT be getting married.

what is wrong is you can not keep your heart or mind on one man. you have the world in front of you and you still want to carry on a relationship with an other man. GET real girl, Let go of the poor sap that wants to marry you and get your wandering ways out of your system before some other man thinks you are it, you are not any where ready to get married and settle down

hopefully you havent planned the wedding yet, think this situation out for a while! if you break up with your fiance you may find this other guy isnt what you want... either take what you have now or, take a risk that may end up in a mistake!

I think long and hard before you marry your fiance, if you're having these feelings for another man then you need to reevaluate some things. In my opinion if you're truly in love with someone there's no room in your heart for another love ( except for your kids)

Your not ready to married plain and simple. So say you marry your fiance but you dream and think about his friend all the time you are going to be miserable.

It's time to get honest, and say "Adios" to your fiance. There's nothing wrong with you, except you're not ready to enter a one on one relationship. Don't waste your life living in a lie.

Sounds to me like your not ready to get married. With divorce rates around 50% you need to make sure you start solid. Call off the wedding.
Sorry

Good luck. Let me know how it goes!

Something is definitely wrong, and it is just you. If you are committed to the guy you have, you have to let this other one go totally. Don't let him dangle as a friend.
