me and this guy both like eachother, A LOT! and hes 2 years older than me and turning 18 soon and in turning 16 even sooner, but its illegal for us to date and we made a pact that when i turn 18 we will start dating, but what can i do? i CANT stop thinking about him, im even loosing sleep over it! i honestly think i might even love him! and thats why we're doing the responsible thing so there'e no chance he can go to jail. But how can i stop thinkning about him?

Well in MA its really strict, i once went out with a guy that was my age but he looked 18 or 19 and these people came up to us and said that they would call the cops n us and then he should them his id and that he was only 16. so people get pretty worked up about it.

Unless there are some strange laws in your state, it's not illegal for you two to date, just for you two to have sex. For instance, I know a couple that were 20 and 16 when they started dating, and they married 4 years later. He tells me he waited until she was 18, and I have no reason to doubt him.
If you don't think you can trust your guy for the two years until the "jailbait" restriction runs out, give him up.

thats not really illegal just date i dated a girl when i was 18 she was 16 for 3 months until she turned 17.

As Carlos Mencia would say, "DEE, DEE-DEE!". Obviously you aren't going to be able to stop having feeling for him even though he's going to be older than you before YOU yourself can do anything physical with him! Kudos by the way for the both of you for being so responsible about it all too!!! I know this a difficult time(yes, I'm not really that much older than you, but old enough though!) in your life, trust me when I tell you that things will get better for the both of you if you both put effort into your relationship!

It's not illegal for you to date. only for you to fornicate (have sex). ask your parents how they feel about you dating an older guy if they approve then your home free and you two will be allowed to date. just don't have sex until your 18 or so. just play it smart and don't get caught in the heat of the moment. If it's meant to be, it will be. 2 yrs. isn't that long, although it may seem like it. I have a feeling things will change though in this time as you BOTH meet others and drift apart. I think that you should still date him....just don't sleep with him until you are 18!
If you do that then i don't see a problem with this at all.

in most places its not illegal to date as long as you don't sleep together until you're 18. just make sure your parents aren't gonna flip out about it first.
