i was just wondering because i know one and i dont know if i should date him do you think i should?

Strippers are people, too. If you have no objection as to how he makes his living and/or what kind of activity he may get involved with the patrons, make the decision on the other merits of the relationship. His work should not automatically exclude him.

Strippers are people too. Full of all the things that make people both good and bad. The 1st thing to ask yourself before you get involved with this guy is, "How well you know and trust him?" (this can be said for any guy). Your guy's occupation forces you to ask a question of yourself, "Can you handle the fact that your guy strips in front of other women, most of whom would love to have sex with him?" If you are a very jealous or insecure person, any self-doubt or mistrust will cause problems for you down the road. If you are just looking to have fun, a stripper knows just about every way imaginable to have that, but you must insist on the strictest of safe practices. Strippers are confident people. They know people find them attractive and can have a different lover every night, if they choose to do so. You should always remember that your guy is bombarded with temptation everytime he goes to work. Knowing you could have sex with someone you find attractive, then turning it down isn't easy, for guys especially. I hope no matter what you decide that you use your head and your heart, this applies to all relationships.

Asking me - I know a friend who dated a stripper. Sure they started off great and he was totally candylicious. Until she found out he had been cheating on her with some rich girl from Europe. They split up but she hasn't fully recovered. She's still kinda hazy wheather she should date again cause she thinks the guy will cheat on her again. If you want to end up like my friend - go ahead but yeah, there are side effects. If I were you and after my experience, I'm sorry I just wouldn't date a stripper. Plus do you like him , do you love him? You have to think about that first cause you can't just date someone if you just know them!

No, but I'm the jealous type so I couldn't handle other girls all over my man but that is the only reason I wouldn't. The reason people are giving that he has an STD is stupid you could go out with a preacher boy and he could have one. Some of the questions you need to ask your self are....
1. Can I trust him?
2. Is he a nice guy and will he treat me right?
3. Can I see this going anywhere?
If the answers are yes then go for it.

It is my opinion that emotionally healthy people don't strip. People who take their clothes off for money (men or women) tend to have self-esteem issues, confidence issues, or like the ability to manipulate the opposite sex for whatever reason. I'm not saying they are BAD people in their hearts, I'm just saying that getting into a relationship with a stripper may not lead to a healthy relationship because those are not qualities you should be looking for in a partner. If you just want eye candy on your arm, however......well, I guess if that's the case, then maybe YOU should ask yourself why you would need that.

I did date a stripper years ago. Problem with this guy though was he was dumber than a box of rocks. Sweet guy, VERY, VERY HOT, but DUMB! My point being, you should not blow this guy off just because of what he does for a living! You should take the whole situation into account. And ask yourself if you can deal with the situation

Why not? If the person is a good person, what they do for a job should not matter. The argument of getting an STD is crazy! You can data an acountant and get one, too! Not all strippers have sex with everything that moves...

Strippers are human beings too! Just because they're into the "skin business", doesn't mean that they are unworthy of love and companionship too! They work in the business world of "skin". All they're doing is their job! And like all jobs, as long as they aren't being abused or exploited or forced to do something unethical or illegal and are enjoying their work, let them do it! As to your question, yes I would date a "stripper" so long as we both are honest and have good communication.

I think most male strippers are gay. Don't date him. I would date a female stripper though. but i am a man
