Do you ever feel that saying the words 'I love you' in English is easier and less meaningful than the I love you in your language?

Saying I love you in english is just easier for me and not that strong. Saying it in my own language is like a bigger step. Same with cussing really, lol.

Is this a global thing or is it just me *and my bf*?

I'm an educated professional, with ant amicable divorce well behind me, and not looking for a husband. I haven't been interested in a serious relationship in years, but I have had some friendly, satisfying affairs. In other words, I'm not desperate and I don't "need" a man in my life.

Now I find myself in a cliche situation. Six weeks ago, my high school boyfriend found me through the internet and we started to correspond and chat by phone. Like me, he has no kids, a steady job, is unmarried and long over his 12-years-ago divorce. I remember him with nothing but fondness, we simply grew apart and lost touch when I moved at 26. He now lives about two hours away. We met last week and had a wonderful lunch and museum visit. I am feeling incredibly romantic and he has said as much to me. Is this just the memory talking, or is this real chemistry?

As you know Valentines Day is coming so i bought this card. of course i don't hve a Valentine but i am planning on getting one. my gf broke up with me after 5 great years....I was hurt because it was 1 year later after she did the same thing but was back the same day and promised me she would never hurt me like that again...but she did

so few weeks after the break up and after she took her stuff out of my home with out me being there...I just told here to leave the key

I have been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months now, and he is the sweetest most caring man I have ever met... with one slight problem, he just re-connected with an old high school friend... Dont get me wrong I love the fact that he has his old friend back, but here recently he has found more time for his friend than he's found for me... I am a college professor but will be leaving my job in July. I don't have another one lined up.

I have been on my own since I was 18. I spent 6 years in the army, and put myself through college and grad school. Mom helped me as she could. I mostly made my own way.

I have struggled all my life with mental illness. I was hospitalized last year, twice, and am heavily in debt.

Mom is widowed and a retired prof. This year she is living with me. She wants to fix my house, pay off my debts, buy me things, esp. nice clothes. I hate this. I I don't want things. I don't do "girl" well - I don't wear makeup or jewelry. About my future, she said "We need to have a plan B and C, too." I got angry: What is this WE? If hurt or sick, I wouldn't want her to know because she would be hovering over me. She wants to hug and kiss me too much. If I let her, she would cuddle me on the couch. She doesn't interfere in the lives of my married siblings. I am the youngest. Am I an ingrate?

ex boyfriend who had broken up with me a year ago still remain friends, when ever we bump into each other meets my friend at venues & just get all charming the aggent and says to them u think u r all that, why does he even bother to talk to them, when he know they will tell me!
