How do you tell that your coworker needs to?

give her "area"some attention. sometimes it smells up our whole office, and this is a serious question so dont delete it..........

tell the boss and then itll be his problem...but i suggest just ignore it till it goes away because it would do her some big self esteem distruction. Get a spray and wen shes not in her room, fill the whole room with it till the bad smell suffocates. i know that situations like these its hard to tell someone straight up to fix themselves cause they may be insulted, hurt and so forth. Well, for me when i am in a situation like that I bring air freshner or my own perfume. Maybe someone can go up to her and tell her nicely that its bothering the whole office or something. Or have everyone bring their own air freshner: febreeze and just spray their corner every hour or something.

Talk with her about it before speaking with management.

If she can't clean up her act after you speak with her, then you need to speak with her boss about it.

Tough spot to be in, I know. Better to let her first know without adversely affecting her employment.

well tell her politely when you walk past her cubicle that it really smells when you pass by just say from a friend to a friend..

If the question is about bad breath, just leave a small bottle of mouth wash at her work station with a note "Thanks for using this"

This is a problem that should be taken to Human Resources. It is thier job to handle such complaints.
