Usually directly. Guys don't do hints, suggestions or hidden meanings. We are too lazy to try to mentally keep track of it all. We prefer not to use 20 words when 3 will do.

Heres the thing if i want a sandwich i say "i want a sandwich" that way everyone knows what i mean, most blokes are just like me, women play mind games and double talk, men are much simpler creatures, just wish women were as clear then i wouldnt get confused!

from personal experience i would say that guys rarely say what they mean and expect you to be a mind reader and can interpret what they mean, very tricky if thgis is not one of your skills! usually the best way to go would be to ask them outright what they mean and what they want etc. easier in the long run if you want to know where you stand xx

Depends what they`re talking about, really. Some conversations can be genuine others might not be. It`s up to you to work out which one is which.
