what do you do if you like a guy and think he likes you back, and you asked a friend to give him your number, when he already knows that you like him, but you didn't know that until just recently and have been saying hey to him and smiling and having eye contact and stuff... what the hell am i gonna do? i swear i am gonna die of shame. how am i gonna face him again?

My girlfriend and I jsut got together and were both doing this for the first time?

Were both sophomores and this is the first time either one of us has been with anyone. I was talking to her on the phone and then our relationship came up. She said that she didn't really now what she was doing and was kinda getting pressure from her parents that she shouldn't be in a relationship. Then she said that she dind't think we should be in a relationship yet. I'm really confused about what is going on and I told her that I would be here when she was ready. I can't figure out what she is feeling right now. Is she getting cold feet or is she jsut trying to figure things out? I really like her and I don't know waht to do. She said that it made her really happy when I called her but I don't know if she was jsut being nice or not. This whole thing is really confusing for me.

I'm 20 and have my first girl friend that I want to be my girlfriend. How far in advance should I ask her out??? I don't quite know much about all this dating stuff, I asked her out for Sunday night on Sunday morning (idiot) and she was busy.

By the way, we can't just go out any night because she has a baby that needs to be watched (she lives with her parents, but still....), and she works 4 nights a week. Also, I have school during the day.

The words "I'm Fine" when asked how you are?...the real question is...when you retort i'm fine, how are you really feeling most of the time?...are you really feeling fine, or are you really feeling like complete and utter crap?....why do so many of us feel the need to put a sticking plaster on the way we really feel?... what is stopping us from saying how we really feel? what is the root cause of this?

I was lectured on and on about quitting smoking. I did because I love them to death. It turns out that over the weekend they went and smoked after all the preaching and vowing that its such a nasty habit and almost broke up with me over it. I only found out because I saw a picture of it. Should I be angry /disappointed/shocked about this?

I am an educated, fine, sexy black woman, who comes from columbian and cherokee indian heritage also. However I am not attracted to black men, because I have had many bad incidents.

The black men I used to date, cheated and slept around. That is why it bothers me when white women claim we get soo upset when they are with black men. I don't care, they could have them. I am mostly attracted to white men and spanish men. However many black men have told me I am a sell-out because I don't stay within my race.

I think this is stupid, considering that black men love to date outside their race. Why do they want me to by myself. White men are not intimidated by my beauty and education. The one's I have dated don't cheat, they can keep a job, and they don't have numerous baby mama's like black men. Am I wrong because I love white men and not blacks? Black men always cause problems in the past when I went out with white men. They even start fights. Is this right or a double-standard?

OK I WAS WITH THIS GUY FOR ANOUT 6 MONTHS AND HE SAID I LOVE YOU FIRST. WE WOULD ALWAYS DO THINGS TOGETHER AND THEN I FINALLY LET HIM HAVE SEX WITH ME. I'm currently dating two women and eventually I will have to chose one. My dilemma is that I love my first girlfriend more, but I feel that the second girlfriend is more suited for a long term relationship & marriage.

I knew the first girl from two years ago and although we had rough patches in our relationship, we always came back together. She is completely devoted to me. Even after two years I'm still infatuated with her unique personality and she's also very physically attractive. However being with her will pose financial challenges for us since her career is not stable, however she promises to work hard to remedy that.

The second girl I recently met through a friend and we instantly bonded. She's good looking but not as attractive as my first. She has the most amicable personality as well as self-confidence herself. However I don't find myself as drawn to her as my first but her family is well-off and she's responsible. On the surface she appears better suited for my future.

My fiance is interested in getting an italian wedding band. I have heard of irish wedding bands but not italian. Has anyone ever seen or heard of an italian wedding band? If so, what is different??? He has no set idea in mind he just would like to get a band that is related to his heritage.

I am a guy married since last 12 years, good & loving wife, a child, but you will be surprised to know that I have never inserted my organ in to that of my wife. all time failure. I have dated three guys in a row that didn't want to commit. They are of varying ages (23, 28 and 28) and personalities. They all came on very strong with me like they were crazy about me but then they didn't want relationships. I am one of those girls that people have said am "marriage material." So I am wondering if I am just scaring these guys off...

Do you think this could be a coincidence or that I am inadvertantly dating guys with commitment issues? The thing is, they always pursue me...And they always seem like they are really into me, even when they tell me they don't want commitment.

Also, what are the early signs of someone with a commitment problem? I never pick up on anything strange in the beginning of these relationships...It's always a couple months in.
