i met my partner 2 yrs ago and he has hit me few times, once each time,i left him had counselling,he then wormed his way back and i let him, saying he changed,i do think he has but again im black and blue spent new yr in hospital with head injury, made sure my family didn't know cause they would think the worse,i told friends i fell over drunk, which i thought myself a bit, is this what he wants?i can be a pain when drinking he said was down to me i started on him and thought he would lock me out & get me arrested but they took me to my friends,im 32 & been out for years never ended up like that,is it me or is he playing the game so i think that way? he was tagged last year for abuse on me even though it wasn't bad, but then it should not happen at all should it?
he took me to hospital etc it hasn't been til last few days i been thinking "i'm not sure this was my fault"

Does anyone here believe in polygamy (such as how it is portrayed on Big Love)? Does it ever really work out with the other sister wives?

I'm tired of the endless mind games and the trying to figure out people. It shouldn't be so hard. Why can't we just date without any hang-ups, mind games, and all of the other bs that comes with it? Eventually, I would like to get married but at the same time, I'm like phuck it!!! People play too many games and I'm not up for the bs. I've been told that I need to play the game too but that's not for me.

Is there any people out there that aint about the game playing? I'm just sick off it. I'm not asking for and instant commitment from anyone. All I want to do is go and have fun like going to a movie, dinner, club, etc. So what's the problem? I should be a man's dream because I love my independence so I dont have to be around you 24/7. I don't telephone harass anyone. PLUS, if you go out with your homeboys and or to a strip club, thats find with me.

Also, It seems that I attract men that drain me emotionally. I'm working on changing that.

I have recently found out that my sixth grader now has a "boyfriend". She told me "Nothing really 'happens'. We don't really go on dates. It's just like saying we like eachother." I want her to be happy and not to be angry with me, but I don't want her to grow up too fast. So my question is, at what age should kids start "daiting"?

On New Years eve, I came home really drunk, and I pissed all over his car. When he came out, I started pissing on him. Then I threw up in his truck while I was trying to go get McDonalds. I woke up the next morning and he asked if I took his truck. I said no. He hasn't said a word to me since.

I just found out that my future brother-in-law was married the same day that my fiance and I have chosen for our wedding date. Does etiquette or even common courtesy require that I change our date?

i just got divorced. it wasn't bitter or hatred just fizzling out. i have no daughters so i'm not sure what to do with my wedding dress. i don't regret the marriage but i'm not sure what's right to do with it. it's two sizes too small and was custom made from a pattern.

I am wondering why some of my friends seems so special to me, they are not perfect, neither with so much qualities but somehow they appear great to me and I feel I am used with them and I am keen to talk to them and to share stuff. I can't explain to myself that even if I do not approve their actions, I still love them and support them because somehow I care for our friendship. I do not know why I see some people so interesting and I wonder what determine who should we like or pick up for a friend? I mean when some people are nice, how we choose who will be the right one for a friend? And why, when having friends we get so much attached and even when we are angry we still like them? Is it true that some friends are like a family, because in the family the members forgive each other and forget about the negative feelings.
