I'm 19 years old, and I use to be the type of person that was never freaked out about the future. I went off to college when I graduated high school and when my family took me to move in, all we could do is cry. I moved back and I am going to a co0mmunity college, but now all I can think about is if i move out then I will be growing up and my parents will then be gone one day and I dont believe I can handle that. A part of me wants to live life to the fullest like i should but the other part of me is terrified and crying because she doesnt know what to do....help please!

Hello, Over the weekend we went to the Hyatt Regency for New Year's Eve. It was a wonderful time but at Midnight they had what seemed to be a million balloons dropping and they were large 16" balloons blown up very tight and people were popping them everywhere and it was incredibly loud. My wife hates balloons popping anyway but was doing ok for a while. She kept holding balloons and dancing and people kept popping them for the next 2 hours and it was really loud and they were very obnoxious drunks in doing so. My wife now feels she ruined the night because we left the party to our room because of the balloon popping. She did take 5 with her and even brought them home with us on Monday. She feels she ruined NYE for me and I keep telling her that I love that she is a sensitive and sweet person but she is very distraught about this. How do I convince her that I love her for who she is and it makes her special?

I hate it when people play games with my heart. My girl bestfriend and I weren't speaking for quite some time because of what she did to me. But since it was new year, I decided to forgive her. On New Year's day she txted me saying she missed me very much and that she loves me. I was always crazy about her so it made me happy that she said she loves me. But when I texted her last night that I love her, she replied by saying "I love you too friend". By her adding friend means that she loves me only as a friend right? Why the hell did she have to start saying it? I feel sucky right now because of that. Why do girls like leading on guys making them believe there is something more? I just hate it. Has this ever happened to you? Any advice?

Personally, I don`t believe in "love at first sight" that`s just HARMONES talking. How could you POSSIBLY love someone at the sight of seeing them for the first time. I think it`s a superficial way of thinking because you like the way they LOOK and not getting to know them as a person. But what do you think?

my boyfiend broke up with me nearly 3 weeks ago, i did nothing wrong and would have done anything for him, he just said he didn't feel the same about me anymore. we went out for 2 months and go to the same college yet we make no more contact with each other. i still care for him and it hurts every time i see him, i just can't seem to let go, i keep thinking he might come back to me but deep down i know its over, i mean if we were to get back together something would of happened by now wouldn't it? he would of kept contact. how do i stop kidding myself like this?

I have been dating a guy for a month now. He calls me his girlfriend, when sober and when not and to his friends. But, when he drinks (which has been going on a lot because of school break), he is a lot more affectionate with me. Such as kissing, hugging, cuddling, etc. When he is sober we have never 'made out', only pecks, and hugs. I have talked to my gf I made that is his friend's wife. She says his true feelings come out when he drinks, that he is shy when not. So I guess my question is, do you think these drunk feelings are his true feelings? Should I talk to him about this, or wait and see what comes of it since it's only been a month?

This New Year's eve my father in law was drunk and bragged to me about all the affairs he has had in his life. He also mentioned that he currently is involved with another woman and gave me details on how he gets away with it. He told me not to tell anybody about this. My twin sister and i are so close that we would die for each other
When we were 17 we went to our family doctor to get our tubes tied or something like that and we were rejected and than again 2 years ago when we were 20 and we were rejected again from 3 different doctors
Now my sister and i got accepted to a school that only accepts 25 students for its veterinarian program that it has and it is the hardest school to get into in Canada we both loves animals more than anything
my grandmother died when she gave birth to my mother and my mother almost dies giving birth to us that she was intensive care for 3 weeks and that most likely will happen to my sister and I
My sister is 4 weeks pregnant and i don't know what she is going to do but one thing i do know about females is that when they have a baby they change and that is scary to me if my sister has a baby than she will be an alien to me and i cry every day

I need help and advice on how to change my ways, I've broken so many hearts not really meaning to, but doing stupid stuff I shouldn't be doing: lying, being an ***, just basically not treating a girl right and I've come down to it, im just too immature when it comes to this sort of thing. On New Years Eve I found out that my best friend of 15 years is 3 months pregnant. I found out thru my other best friends fiance' that slipped out while all hanging out that night. At first I was really excited, but then i became very upset. My best friend is on a cruise with her boyfriends family, so she has no clue that I know yet. SHe is also my Maid of honor in my wedding in 2008. My other best friend said she has been keeping this secret for 2 months and that my MOH has known since Halloween. Is it wrong to be this upset? I just asked a question regarding why if my wife was on birth control and then went off (she just ran out of birth control) and when we had one night of unprotected sex, why she’d get so mad at me if I asked her that I was a little afraid of that and maybe we should take that Plan B to make sure we didn’t have anymore than 3 kids (all from different partners). I wanted to add some information to the last question. She said that she’s insecure because she thinks that I don’t want to be tied down to another woman with a child and that I’m going to leave. I can’t tell whether she’s just so in love with me that she is so insecure that I’m going to leave her without having a kid of our own or it’s just an ego thing for her that I would have kids with another woman and not her. I would hope it’s the former but possibly just an ego thing for her. The thing is I’ve grown since my first marriage and instead of kids, I want all the kids we have to grow up so I can spend all my time with the woman I married. I can’t convince her of that. She’s taking it hard like I hurt her feelings when she just doesn’t understand I just want the rugrats gone so I can just be with her. How can I get that through to her that I’m not going to leave, she is worthy of having a kid with(even though I don’t want anymore. Either does she by the way. We talked about it), and that I’d like to be kid free to enjoy her without her feeling all dejected. It’s like she has very low self esteem instead of looking at reality. I’m also worried now that she’s just going to go out and try to get pregnant to prove that she’s desirable since she’s so down on herself just because of her thoughts.

I know that you may have loved or liked that person alot but its OVER...So its obviously not meant to be. Why does everyone ask questions like "How can I get my ex back" or "how can I get thier attention". The more you ask questions like that, the harder it is going to be for you! Back away a little bit and let them realize what they lost. Let it go and if they come back then it may have been meant for you!
