My best friends to used to be well...chubby and i was her only friend. Now she lost 65lbs and looks amazing! But ever since she lost all that weight all she talks about is herself, everytime i need help with my problems(like my boyfriend problem..see previous question i have asked) she says stuff like "i dont know" and then goes back to "omg! do i look fat?" or says something about her boyfriend. It gets really old and annoying. I tried talking to her about it and she says that i do it too, which i admit i do that alot but thats only cause its about HER constently...what should i do? I dont want to lose her as a friend.

I am getting married on July 2007 for the ceremony we are paying $400 but we also need to give a donation to the pastor who id going to marry us. we are on a budget but we also dont want to be cheap. What would be a good donation?

My son is 3 1/2 and his father only really wants to see him when there is a holiday and on special occasions. He doesn't pay any child support until its pay or jail. He always has some excuse why he can’t see him. I think I let him get away with too much cause he doesn’t do anything for his son yet when he does call and want to see him I make arrangements so he can. I never wanted money to be the reason that they don’t have a relationship. But times are getting tight and my son is getting to an age of understanding. My son’s father likes to put guilt trips on people and make people feel like he is the victim. For example, X-mas he saw him Sat and Sun before and then on X-mas me and my son had people to visit and he did not make it down to see his dad. Well his dad got his whole family to e-mail and call me trying to make me feel like a bad person, saying he has another family. If I'm going to look like the bad guy maybe I should put my foot down and stop this convenient father crap.

My boyfriend asked me what I thought about having a threesome and after reading the comments hear online about others who have asked the question. I said ok and layed down some rules. He then said he was just playing especially after I said we could never have a serious relationship afterwards do to my own insecurities of wondering if im good enough and if he is with her when im not around etc. Considering the fact that this question was asked while he was at work and the fact that I know that men have fantasies of this. im with a guy that i really love alot. hes a black guy and im white. my parents dont like this kind of stuff. when i say my dad is the most prejidece person ive ever known...he really is. he already told me that if i even "talk" to a black guy ill be thrown out of the house, he'll never speak to me again, and he would never accept it. im a sr. this year in high school and i need my parents for graduation and sr. pictures and stuff like that. i really love him alot. we have been dating for 8 months now....but hiding it. what can i do? i want to tell them but if i do there s no dobt that my dad would hate me and i dont think i could go on with my HOLE family hating me b/c of this. or should i tell them b/c i love him so much?

I have 2 cousins, one of them has loads of money, (he won 20,000pounds 7years ago) good health, good looks, he cheats on his wife and he is a lazy arrogant person and last week he won a large amount of money on the lottery. (second time)
My other cousin, has a tumor in his head, suffers with child diabites since he was 12, has to wear thick glasses, he is in and out of the hospital all the time, does not have a wife at all, and although he is very hardworking can barely make ends meet. He plays the lottery too, but has never won.

Why some people have all the luck?? ( they dont even deserve it)
and others have such bad luck??

He is begining to lose hope and I want to help him.
How can I help change his luck??

He has admitted that he likes me. Although, we didn't speak often, we at least talked a few times a week. Since we've been out on break, I haven't heard from him. I know he was with family for a while. Should I take that as a sign of lack of interest or just wait until school starts? I'd love to see him over the weekend, but don't want him to think I'm pushing a relationship.

i think i have low self esteem in the looks department. i posted a question before about thinking im afraid of being in a relationship and i think i may be. i dont find myself attractive but people tell me im pretty and when iwas in LA on holiday once a woman from a teen modelling agency came to me and said iwas 'gorgeous' but peoples words only help me feel good about myself for the moment and then i hate the way i look again. im quite curvy, well i have an extra few pounds not alot but i could still never imagine anyone loving me for me. is it true that if you cant love yourself no one can love you?...what can i do to improve myself self esteem and feel good about myself?

Sadly, my mother whom I love very much married a man 3-4 yrs ago. I live w/ them now, but after what happened...I will be moving out. When I first met him, he was very polite and nice...then, he started becoming this angry person. He has a very hot temper. Well, he's been emotionally and verbally abusing my mom ever since their marriage (and before) calling her names, cussing at her, and telling her that she is the village idiot (I don't want to mention in detail the names he calls her because I'll probably get kicked out of yahoo ans). Stuff he has done in the past: He threw the dinner at her and it hit her chest area, he has gotten so angry that he's thrown our small dogs across the room, etc. Ok, the other day...he pushed her to the ground...my mom fell backwards. Before he could do anything, I ran to him and grabbed his arm and said, "STOP!" The sad part is, I'm the only one that thinks its abuse...my mom said he's sorry and she's ok with it. Is this abuse?

my brother in law, has always been more then stupid mentally, and im not just calling names here, its true. hes been through drugs, rehab only because he was not willingly to go to rehab but because he was caught! so maybe the drugs fried his brain some more and now that hes off, nothing but stupid words fall out of his mouth, for example this last christmas he says in front of my kids "mom and dad are santa clause!" he thought he was so funny. i try not to be around him as much as we dont have to but my sister in law and his wife like to push my kids to be friends with him, trying to act more "family-like" and i dont want my kids to be around that idiot at all, what should i do or say or what?

How can it be so easy for a man to move on even after he told the woman she'll, be the only one he can be with in the future??how can he changed his mind so quick?? I'm self concious, and hate my appearance. I know most girls go for a mix between personality and looks but I am not happy with my looks and I'm far too shy. I hardly speak to any girls and have hardly any female friends. How can I make new female friends (bearing in mind I'm extremely shy and self concious). Also what do girls love about Guys appearance and personality wise?

Another thing I'd like to ask is do you think it's worrying that a 16 year old male has never had a girl friend before 'cus I really do and I think that plays a big negative against my self confidence! Please help me! What can I do??

my boyfriend and i have been together for 5 yrs. we have been living together for 5 months, we are engaged to be married and he is the best to my 3 kids. my issue is that the end of the month he will be going on vacation to pakistan. in pakistan he has a wife and 4 kids. it never bothered me before because i have 3 kids from a previous relationship. now that he is going, iam pissed off and jealous because he will probably sleep with his wife and have another child. what should i do? how would u feel, is this normal in the muslim religion. thanks.
