People don't have to be smart to be personable or fun. I think chemistry between two people can come from common interests, humor, good conversation. Conversation doesn't have to be about rocket science to be interesting. Just look for a nice person who you have fun with and trust. I like my guys with any IQ so long as we click. Leesa

Nobody I know likes dumb people of the opposite sex, unless they themselves are dumb, or are looking for a trophy boyfriend/girlfriend to show off to their superficial friends. I married a smart woman for a reason, because we can engage in intellectual conversations, but a dumb airhead girl would talk about nothing but her "cute skirt" or the color of her manicure or lipstick. People like that waste my time and I certainly don't have the patience for idiots that are not on the same mental level I am on.

I cannot stand dumb people in general. Definitely like a smart guy - but not full of himself smart.

It depends on what for.
People like dumb people when they want someone they can take advantage of.
They like smart (not ARROGANT) people for long-term relationships or marriage.
Don't act dumb hoping guys will like you. Sure, they'll pay more attention - only because they think they can get into your pants.
My high school girlfriend was fun, sure, but dumb as a stump. She was an idiot. I didn't care at the time but wow...looking back....

Some times smart so they can take care of me some times dumb so i can impress them....im pretty smart( between 119 and 155 Dpending on the test) so average will do just fine... =)

Guy that's smart and can be on my level, but if he's a conceited know-it-all, then it's too much. Dumb guys are immature and ones that you can't bring home to mama, but sometimes their the cute ones.

I like guys that are smart cauze they could teach me stuff that I don't know. And we could have a conversation. But I don't want him to be that smart also. By the way most smart guys are hot!!

I like smart guys. They can carry a conversation and you can talk to them without getting a blank stare and having to explain everything you say.
