He has admitted that he likes me. Although, we didn't speak often, we at least talked a few times a week. Since we've been out on break, I haven't heard from him. I know he was with family for a while. Should I take that as a sign of lack of interest or just wait until school starts? I'd love to see him over the weekend, but don't want him to think I'm pushing a relationship.

Thanks everyone. No, I haven't called him either. We sent each other a text message commenting about something silly early on, but that's it. Nothing over Xmas or New Year's. I understand that if a guy likes you he will call, so I was just confused. He really made a big deal of telling me how shy he was but that he had liked me for a while...so not calling just has me sitting back waiting on him make the next move. Sort of trying to conserve a little dignity, I suppose.

I'd take that as a big lack of interest...being with family isn't an excuse...
Lack of interest = not calling back when they say they will or not calling at all...

just let him make his move. a lot of stuff can happen over the break, and that can be good or bad. e.g. he appreciates you more, or finds another girl. just wait.
