First off I think he could have been serious but he just wanted to see what your reaction would be like and after seeing your rules he realized that he doesnt want that and he would not like to see you insecure and that he want to keep a stable relationship without having it ****** up by a threesome. He just wanted to know how you felt about it. I guess if you said that it was ok and that it would advance your relationship he would do it and not act the way he has dont you think? Well thats just my opinion as a guy even though we mostly think all alike as you girls put it each one has different preferences for a girlriend

May be it was just kind of asked as a joke but willing to do if you were ok with it
but the thought of not having a serious relationship with you or even losing you I mean you are worried about him liking another girl what about him worrying that you might like being with a girl better. A lot of guys just joke about it because they think it is expected. If he was looking to have a threesome with another guy would you even be wondering about your relationship.

If he can't even ask a question without you getting paranoid, I feel sorry for the guy. Yes, it's something he thought about, but the fact that he basically said, "Okay, nevermind," when you said it would invalidate your relaionship should tell you that he's *more* interested in a relationship with you than a threesome. That means he's *not* going to go behind your back and "still do it."
What's next? When he asks you to cook a dinner that it turns out you can't make, are you going to freak out and think he's going to a woman who can and she's going to seduce him with her superior cooking skills? Relax!

I'm a one-on-one kind of person. Pun intended! I'm not an exhibitionist either. It has to be behind closed doors. Know what I mean? To answer your question I think most guys do fantasize about that but would not actually go through with it. According to Playboy a true threesome is two girls and one guy. So you have to be willing to see your man with another woman and be OK with it. Women I know would not. So tell your boyfriend if he wants that type of activity he needs to look elsewhere and not to bring it up again.

Yes! The myth is true... Men do like threesomes... thats becoz 2 is better than one..
At the same time, it looks like ur man really loves u, thats why he's playing.. He doesn't wanna lose you and would give up a chance for a threesome if it meant losing u.. So cheer up! He's for keeps!!
However, if u are OK with threesomes, then, there's no problem at all... He looks like he wants it, but not at the cost of losing you :)

Threesomes can be tricky, and if it's not what you want don't do it. He isn't worth you compromising your standards only to keep him around, if you do not trust him and think he will cheat then maybe you should dump him first. Have some self respect. If he said it just in passing and you still need some time to think about it maybe just take more time. But if it's not for you then stick to your decision and tell him that you are not interested.

Good for you. The fact that you have considered the possible outcome. Shows a good quality a mate looks for. A willingness to try. He mentioned it, he wants it. You may want to be the one to introduce the 3rd person. Most assured 2girls and himself would be his wish. Perhaps the other could be one you trust and wouldn`t go behind your back. Remember that you make the key decisions. Its like designing your own game. As long as no one gets hurt, have fun I`d like to here about it.

Would he be willing to have a 3-sum with another male as well? It is only fair...in the back of his mind he really wants one as it is a lot of guys fantasies. To see two women together really turns guys on for some reason. I have done this and it brought us closer together. I would never want to be with another man though. He used protection and there were boundaries set like no kissing since that is very intimate to me. There has to be boundaries set though! It would be best to find a girl you won't ever see again as well.

Men have fantasies that they will never act on.
If you two have a good relationship, that is, if YOU feel comfortable without counting this 3-some conversation, I think you should move on. It's possible that he had a buddy at work that mentioned it (perhaps his friend did it) and he was wondering if you would ever consider it.

That is a toughie. Well if you had got another girl and said your relationship would still be normal, he would have been on both of you faster than a convict in a whore house. But hard to say. He could have been joking and then maybe for real. But just play it by ear.
