Yes of course. That's the way they deal with things so when things get tough in the relationship they will most likely abuse. Treatment for something like this takes a very long time. If your involved in this kind of situation, get out now.

I think it depends upon whether or not they will lose money if divorced and if the other wife works and "brings home the bacon". That's with alcoholic guys, I think. The plain sociopath will be violent with anybody!

Violent people are violent, period. If they feel provoked, they will be violent in any relationship.
