I was in a car accident.?

Well,it was the Friday before Christmas and i really was fine but now my car is all messed up.My exfiance wasn't talking to me until the accident and now he's acting all worried and ****.But I don't know if he really cares or not.But he asked me back like the next day but he had only been talking to me cuz he was worried if i was ok.He knows I am alright but I don't know if he's with me cuz he wants to be or out of pitty.It was my fault when we broke up before cuz I cheated on him and he told me he would never forgive me but now he's asking me back and telling me he loves me and ****.what do I do.Everytime I ask him he says it's because he loves me but I don't know.

it's not pity.. if u were on ur deathbed, Maybe. but u are ok, but he just realized "what if" something horrible had happened, and he had let u go? he is saying that he is forgiving u for the past cheating that u had done.

you have to appreciate that. if u don't, let him go. seems like u already had respect issues to first cheat on him, and now think his professing love to you is pity, and not something real.

tragedies tend to bring out our true feelings about someone...the possibility of you getting hurt or worse concerned him and he probably realized that even out of your stupidity of cheating on him he still loves you and is probably wanting to work things out with you (although i cant understand that reasoning). if you just have to know then ask him and tell him you dont want to hear "because he loves you"...you want other reasons.
sorry if i come accross as rude, but i cant stand cheaters and never understood how others can take them back after they destroy their trust and the bond of a relationship.
Well, I don't think he wants to be with you out of pitty. You are alright now, so there's nothing to pitty for. You two were promised. That means that you both love each other. You hurt him before, and he was disappointed in you. But that doesn't mean that he stopped loving you! Yes, he tried to cut you out of his life, so you don't have the chance to hurt him again.
But when he faced a possibility that he might loose you forever, and when he realized that no one is here forever, it just clicked. He loves you. Why would he loose you?
I don't know how much time passed since you two broke up, but there is also a possibility that he was trying to teach you a lesson. So maybe he planned to make up with you after some time. You know, so you could realize that you can't do this to him anymore, or something like that. I think that one of these two cases is true. But in both he loves you!
So... believe him and be happy...

If he's found it in his heart to forgive you then maybe he's realized that he'd rather have you in his life than out. In that case be thankful you've found one of the good ones.

i think it is out of self pitty because when some one almost gets killed it make the other person think what would i do if i really did lose her and she really did die, how would i react with her death and the last thing i said to her was . i didn,t what to every see you again he would not what those words to be the last to you. so it could be out of selffish gilt. as well that,s what he would think
