What does it mean when a guy says 'there is nothing you can do or say that will make me feel differently of you'.... oh yeah, we're kindof involved...but not dating or bf and gf

So I'm dating a guy for a little while, things are going great, he's making the moves, seemingly into me ... and then boom! Sideswipes me right before leaving for the holidays with "I'm just going to be too busy when I get back to invest the time I would want to in a relationship." He says all the crap about me being really important to him and loving spending time with me, but apparently not enough. THEN, he goes on to say all the things he wants to do with me next semester (as friends) like go to new restaurants, see movies, etc. Wait, I thought he didn't have time. OH, and then he has a christmas present for me but he was too cowardly to give it to me face to face and just left it on my porch. I just want to know what's with the mixed signals. Either you have time for me or you don't. Either you want to be with me or you don't. which is it? Guys? Help me here.

I've done the most impulsive thing that I have ever done in my life. I told my baby's father's girlfriend that I was 8 months pregnant and I thought she should know because he had no intention on telling anyone. I thought her of all people should and deserved to know since she was completely clueless.
I know that it probably wasn't the most tasteful thing to do, however, I felt like if I was in her position I would hope that someone were to tell me that my boyfriend was going to be a father with some else's child.
I was mature in the conversation and didn't bash him nor did I go into specifics of our relationship, however, I told her that she deserved to know, and that I did not expect anything out of telling her and that I am willing and prepared to raise the baby on my own.
Shortly after the father contacted me, and now I'm starting to feel sorry for both the girlfriend and the father. Even though he has put me through hell. Does this make me irrational and crazy?

my gf and i started dating 2 months after she ended a 1 year 3 month relationship with him. she said she loved him and she was going to move in with him and all that. now she is telling me that she loved him. but wasnt "in love" with him, but that she is "in love" with me, and she wants us to move in together. is she just trying to get past him really fast? we have only been dating for 4 months.

Hi. I'm currently back and forth in a long-term relationship with a man I really love. I have always gotten along better with men than women and have a male friend I met thru art circles (we're both artists) and we have a lot in common.

Well, the problem is he's hot and cold. When I contact him, he doesn't respond. But when I tell him I'm no longer with my man, he contacts me very fast and tells me I can do better and I'm pretty, smart, blah, blah.....Eventually things blow over with my man and we're fine. During that time, my friend avoids me and I get frustrated. I want them both in my life. What gives??

and my 3 year old their grandchild. This year we were supposed to be going to their house christmas eve as my 2 older girls are going to their dads house christmas day from 12 noon until 9pm...I just received a call from my mother in law saying christmas is now going to be christmas day at 3pm....They also have another son and he has a step son and they would never dream of doing something if he wasn't there.... I am sat here crying and I have no idea why.....I just feel so hurt.....My parents live in england so its not like the girls can go somewhere else with us christmas eve and all they have been talking about is how much fun they are going to have on christmas eve at the party.....I feel like just calling and telling them we can't go until we have all the kids with us...as we are a family and we do things together not just one girl....but am i just being bitchy and reacting.....i dunno....please help....

my mother is so annoying, I am the eldest of 4 girls and my mother constantly boasts non stop about one of my sisters because she has model looks, we re all attractive but all very different, she sits in company and boasts about my sister while the rest of us just sit there feeling like idiots! my youngest sis is off to uni soon my other sis is a single parent with an autistic child I am bringing up my 5 sons, but the reality is the sister she favours most cos of her looks is lazy wont work, sleeps around is selfish but my mother says shes sensible cos she chooses to be on her own and dosent have any children, the sad reality is shes had 3 abortions and 2 misscarridges all one night stands my mother dosent even know about she carnt keep a bloke cos they dont come back after they get what they want, how can I make my mother see that theres more to life than looks and get her to recognise our achivements without her flying off the handle?

ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

I dated this guy for a month and 2 weeks, then he cheated on me, and I loved him so much, I was willing to forgive him for it once, but he broke up with me... well 6 months later he tells me he wants me back, and he promises not to cheat, and he tells me I was the best girl he ever had well I took him back, and now he has told me he loves me more than words can say, and he never said that to me before, and right now he is in jail (yea I kno thats not good, and all that but Im not here to talk about that or be lectured about how much of a troublemaker he is so please dont mention anything dealing with that) , anyways no one but parents can see or talk to him right now, so he had his mom call me and tell me he loves me, and he'll talk to me as soon as he can... I had a baby and now after a while we have decided to get married. We both work, so "playtime" winds up becoming the second job, not to mention the kid. I am not really that confident in my shape now, being that I not as toned anymore. We have sex it's still good but its not like it used to be. The foreplay went to hell in a handbasket. I miss the dirty talk and neck kisses. We just get so tired from work and then we the baby goes to sleep, we are tryin to get some sleep in too. How do I make this better? I have REALLY liked this boy for the past five years. I know that in the past he has liked me, but I am unsure of how he feels now. He had a girlfriend (a gril who really pursued him) but he broke up with her. I used to be friends with him, but now we dont talk much. The other day we had to be lab partners and we were both a little shy with each other. When we talked he always looked right into my eyes for a long time, and I noticed his pupils were big. (I heard that means something?) anyways PLEASE help because I REALLY like him but I dont know how to tell if he likes me anymore.
