my friend new that her boyfriend was going to give her a promise ring for christmas. now just last night he called me telling me that he returned it. the only reason he gave me was that people thought it was a bad idea to give a promise ring. i think its his guy friends telling him that cause he's with her alot more then his friends sometimes. now she's all depressed. i just dont understand why he would retun it when he knows that their relationship is at that level. she knows that he's the one for her. she wants to get married to him and he even told my boyfriend that he wants to marry her too.

My ex wants time off from our relationship because earlier i took time to figure out if its what i wanted. Its ok to me for her to take her time but she in not going to guarantee that i will get another chance. so i need to figure out how to fall out of love so if i dont get another chance i dont get crushed. Im already pretty bummed she wont take me back now, i've tried everything, so if i put in all this new effort and still nothing im really going to be crushed. Ideas?

I know people that think i am weird because of things that i can't go tell you because the story goes on and on. They act weird around me and never talk to me. i feel like curling up into a ball and becoming invisable when they are around because i have done some pretty embarassing things in front of them. They never laugh at me, but i can tell they think i am a complete bird brain. I don't know how to deal with that. I really need help.

He has never known his parents together. They never go to any functions together. In the beginning when we met he liked me. And after a few months he turned into a mean little devil. I love his dad and we've been together for over one year and in it for the long run. Yet I feel sometimes that this is too much to handle. Jim is on my side. He thinks we just have to give him time. But from what I see, it is only getting worse.

What is up with my sister in law?We live 2 houses away from each other but yet we never see or speak to each other for a month or more at a time and then all of a sudden she emails me 28 times in the run of a day with pictures,jokes and jibber jabber.Our relationship has always been love or hate mainly because ever since i met my husband she has been jealous of me.She will say catty things to me and totally ignore me if one of her friends are around and then out of the blue call me or email me like nothing happened.Am i just suppose to forget all the stuff she has said and done to me and welcome her with open arms or tell her to get lost?She is a very insecure person and likes to make people think that she is so in control of her life and that no one is as happy as her and her husband.They spend 90% of there time trying to keep up with everyone.That would make anyone unhappy.Does anyone have any idea what the heck is her problem?Serious answers only please!

Since we've turned 18 and gone to Uni, all my frinds care about is going out to clubs everynight, drinking and sometimes even smoking and I am not the sort of person who enjoys that and my parents dont like me doing things like that either, my friends invite me and when I say no, they say im moody and unsociable what do i. my partner of 6 years left me 2 months ago for someone else thats not the problem ythough the prob is that he dont want nothing to do with his kids only on his bday and eid as he is muslim i told him he cant just c them when it suits him he has to consider the childrens feelings they r 1 n 4 his new girlfriend has 2 children and he is with them all the time but now he is threatening to take me to court because i wont let him have them this eid coming i dont want him to see them if he is treating them like something he can pick up and put down when he feels like it my eldest went to nursery and said she wanted to change her name as she has his last name i didnt know this until the teacher took me to the side and told after nursery finished! he has even told his frieds and family that its me who wont let him see the kids he dont even phone to see how they r but he will ask his friends how they r so that it seems he is interested what can i do? can anyone give me any advice
