Hello Dear,

I Buddhism, we call this the suffering of change, or the suffering of attachment. When we become attached to someone or something that seems wonderful, in reality it is just another way to suffer, because we cannot always have that person or thing (if it is a thing, it will eventually break, get stolen, die, or decay in some way)...

An easy solution would be to spend all of your time with this person, but eventually that would destroy the relationship, wouldn't it?? And then you would REALLY suffer.

Try to find ways to spend time doing things that are actually good for you, instead of destroying your mental happiness when you are apart. Surely there were things that you used to enjoy doing before you met this person. Do you not still enjoy doing them??
Do you still have friends, or have you burned all those bridges in pursuit of this person??

I will try and take some of your suffering upon myself, Dear, but it won't help much. You've got to work at it yourself.

Namaste,

--Tom

You are still in the infatuation stage of a relationship. It'll fade. Ya can't be together all the time with anybody and besides, everybody needs their space sometimes. No one wants to be smothered. Grow up a while. If all else fails, get married. That'll turn the whole thing around. Read some stuff from the married ones here. LOL

Take a deep breath, if you still feel this way 6 months from now, you may have something. Remember not to put a noose around your bf neck and give him and yourself some breathing room. You could scare him away.

You may 'cause him to want to get away if your very clingy. I drove my best friend away because I to was clingy. I think you should divide up your time between all of your friends. That way you can be with him and still enjoy all of your other friends too and not appear clingy. If he is your only friend I suggest you try to make new friends and if your shy have him introduce you to some of his friends.

I know how you feel. I used to date a guy and during that period of time, I only wanted to hang out with him and no one else. It's best that two have time away from each other. You should go hang out with your friends or family sometimes. I know how it is, but you have to wing yourself from feeling like that. The time away from each other makes it more exiting when you two hang out together. If you crowd him, it will push him away.

Yeah, been through that phase. I would go out w/my cousins, friends, or parents, and I just wouldn't be happy I wanted to see him or talk to him. I got over it. I married him, but I can go out and not think about. Have fun, don't depend on him or other people to much.
