You say she is your friend but she isnt acting like one. So you have some choices. One is to never tell her anything you do not want repeated. Another is to find a new friend and get rid of her. Or you could just keep putting up with her betrayal.

You gotta think about it from her side, too. It's not so much that she is consciously being a ***** and telling your secrets to everyone, but she might open her mouth before she thinks. It's not intentional, but just as harmful. Doesn't mean that she doesn't think of you as a friend.

Most likely she is feeling guilty every time she talks to you, and she is beating herself up for letting your secret out. It's possible that she feels that she can't control it. Yeah, these are generalizations, but I know a lot of people like this and it's usually more or less the same deal.

Your solution? Remove the temptation. Just don't tell her stuff that you don't want others knowing, it's that simple. But as a friend, you should really sit her down when it's quiet and tell her that you know she blabbed and that sometimes you have a hard time trusting her because of stuff like that. Nothing angry, no finger pointing.

aw! i hate it when that happens. i know you wouldn't want to hurt your relationship with her, but is she really being a friend? I'd try to find someone you could trust. maybe even make it known to her that she's really the one hurting the relationship for not being true to you.
