Just stop asking her about him. She needs to move on.

Don't do it. I'm in the same situation. She finally told me the same thing and she gets upset that I ask as well. She also wanted us to move in but afterwards (after she got her own place) she changed. She will get controlling and start blaming you for everything. Don't move in together unless you've dated more that 1 and 1/2 because you still don't know what kind of person she is only after 4 months. Hell I don't know my own girlfriend and she wanted to move in together after 4 months and we've been dating for 6 months. Now that she has her own place I can see that it would have never worked out with us living together. We need more independent time apart (meaning our own place). So don't do it.

It's possible that your gf could be experiencing what is referred to as 'rebound love'. These feelings feel very real and are just as extreme as the real thing. So, it is possible. Does anyone know for sure? Probably not. I met husband 1 month after I broke up with my husband of 10 years and we have now been married 2 years and he is the love of my life. So, is it possible that what she's feeling is real? YES. Is it possible that she is having a rebound love experience. YES. Tell her that you feel you both should take it slow and explain your concerns.

1 year and 3 months isn't that long...doesnt mean she was hopelessly in love with the guy. I dated guys that long that I think are complete retards

First off, stop all this "moving in" talk.

Second, stop all this "in love" talk.

Theres a reason its called dating. Date and also date other girls.
Stop trying to get all wifed up.

Sounds like she is on the rebound.
Dont even mention her ex and things will go more smoothly.
She is over him and wants you so keep that in mind.
If she wants to move in together, get your priorities in line.

take things slow! get to know her before you move in together. as far as being in love with you etc action speak louder than words and only time will tell, but take time to get to know each other before you go the next step.

I agree with Texconn. DATE her first. Maybe the reason that she doesn't want to talk about it is because he left her because she was TOO clingy? Too pushy maybe? Seems to me that he is unstable and very needy. Hey, if that is your thing then.. Go for it. But in my experiance situations like that don't go to far. Good luck with that.

only dating four months? that's soon to move in, but you're the only one who can make that decision! if you're skeptical in the least bit, don't move in. Do it when you're ready. moving in is a huge step and it's hard to undo. so don't rush it! tell her you need more time to reevaluate your current living situation.

Never worry about an ex. It will ruin a relationship for sure. Ever one has ex loves....She's with you....don't keep anyone else on her mind........trust me
