We are going to have an informal ceremony of about 15 people either at my church, a wedding chapel, or the courthouse. I don't know what I should wear. I have seen some nice black dresses and I kind of don't want to wear the off white or beige. Some have been telling me it is inappropriate to wear black but I thought black was considered formal. My fiance is wearing black pants, white shirt and a tie. I want to look nice but it is informal. Some one help!!..(oh yeah it is in January)

knew this guy as an acquintance for almost a year.. never liked him that way or anything... he began flirting with me and as time went on i began developing feelings with him/.. i've been intimately involved with him for 5 mnths.. but finally saw the light that he's only interested in a casual relationship! i've been distant to him and kinda sad about the whole thing, but see he doesn't seem to get the message. despite stepping back when he tries to touch me! he has actually asked me why i'm stepping back! he even had the nerve to ask me what he'll be getting for xmas and when i asked him what he's getting me he said i asked first! after stopping him from touching my breasts he said take care sweetie. i believe i deserve better than just sex! do you think he said take care cuz he's mad?

My future sister in law is evil. We both have babies, mine is 9 mnth, her's is 8.Both girls. Everything is a competition.She got mad when we bought the same crib and when I bought it, it was not like I planned it. it was on sale.Not a big deal.

I also have to work with her. Before I went to work with her, I didn't know her true colors. She is the head tech at a dialysis unit at the hospital. Not the supervisor tho.
Now she is always talking behind my back at work to everyone( by the way, she talks about everybody) if she gets mad at me outside of work.. for stupid and childish things and trys to always get me in trouble and trys to get everyone to hate me. She even talks to my fiance (which is her husband's brother) and tells him I don't do anything at work and he needs to talk to me about it. I bend over backwards at work. I get bad anxiety around her cuz I am afraid I am going to do something wrong.

And then she calls me for advice on things and I always give it to her. HELP!?

My husband and I have been married for 4 1/2 yrs. We have 4 children together plus one from a prev. relationship. He doesn't celebrate Christmas, I certainly was not made aware of this before we got married. If I knew this info. I would of had second thoughts. He won't let me and children get a tree, wreath, lights nothing of the sort. I don't think that is fair to us. He knew when he was dating me that I celebrate Christmas and it was favorite time of the year!! Every year around this time I ponder on leaving him because I am so unhappy.Is this something to get a divorce over? The only thing is the children ages 8,4,2,1 and one on the way in Feb. I am a SAHM, (stay at home mom), I have no income whatsoever. Would I be able to take the risk of being a single mother with 5 children to care of? One last clue I am a christian and he is a reborn muslim(not orthodox but nation of islam). He joined after we got married. I feel mislead, but I do love him. It is our conflicting religon.

Me and her have been together for 4 yrs out of nowhere she wants out of the relationship. I let her go. She comes back 2 wk later and wants back. After that she breaks up w/ me agian two wk later she calls me and wants help. I help her and we are still acting like a couple. She doesnt know what she wants. I ask if she wants back she says yes. I say lets take it slow. She agrees two days later i met up w/ her 4 lunch she say we seem more like friends. OK so i go up to her place later that night and i tell her how i feel, that i want to marry her and she in my eyes was the only girl 4 me. I also tell her i think she doesnt know what she wants. She agrees She says right now we are friends but more i dunno she says. We both decide we need our space from each other. The whole time we are flirting and laughing at each other as though nothing is wrong. We both 20 and 21 i can understand if she wants figure her self out be4 pursueing the relationship if that is what it is. What is going on?

Ok so me and this kid have been flirting back and forth and he says he likes me and he knows I like him and he says that he keeps "almost" asking me out but he dosen't. 4 years I had felt that my husband was cheatn , but I nevr had probable cause until recently.He used to accused me of cheating and ridicule me about my friends. I had a hysterectomy done in 05, but prior to that operation I was having troubles sexually I didnt have the urge, because I stayed in so much pain from the fibroids and bleeding. He thought I was making up excuses not to sex him, but in fact I was not. So our sex was kept at a minimum and I knew he had to be getting satified from somewhere because of his urges. Our relationship over the past 7 yrs of marriage has turn into no sex, no holdn hands, no kissn, no huggn, etc. For the past month he had been hanging out til late am, and I start to check his cell phone and found texts from his ex- stating they had oral relations, been out to dinner, and he denies it all. He states that his ex is crazy and made up the texts in his phone to break up our marriage! How would his ex know I would I would look through his phone? Help!

To make a long story short....there's this guy who says that he loves me and constantly jokes about eloping with me. Lately, he's been serious about it.

Background: We started talking "online" (internet) like 5 years ago. I started emailing him when I was 16 but last year, I met him in person. He seemed like a nice guy but expected too much. Since then, we've been chatting on and off and might even get together to catch up on things.

He says he loves me and I believe him but I dont think I feel the same and I dont know what to do. I care for him alot but I dont think I'll ever get married unless I jump at the chance.

I'm only 21 and I know I shouldn't be in such a rush but I have this feeling that I wont have a chance to be married and try to have a family while I can. (No, I'm not dying or anything like that. I just feel like my time is short.)

If you were me, what would you do?

My best friend had just broke up with her basically first boyfriend ever....well after they had broken up me and her X had become best friends (nothing more!!!) well the problem with that is that we really hated eachother when they were going out i mean we really couldnt stand eachother at all!! So when she found out that we started hanging out she kind of felt like she had been dissed and that i had screwed her over for him. But which is not tru only because i helped him when they were braking up ( i mean that when they were having troubles he had no one else to talk to because all of his friends wouldve made fun of him and taunt him and s*** like that!) So when they broke up and we became friends it felt that we just couldnt be friends because everyone thought there was something going on which there wasnt but i think that also had her a lil influenced on the situation.

She got her electricity shut off today because she makes poor desicions with her money, like buying a tanning bed, food for her grown daughter, things she does not need, etc. She is not trustworthy and I do not want her in my home when I or my husband is not home too. I do not want her to have a key because she will give it to her daugter who does drugs and is not allowed in our home. I have agreed with my husband that she can shower and sleep there after we get home from work and then she has to leave in the morning, which is fine because she works. Am I being generous enough or am I being selfish? She also has two dogs that are not housebroken. I would also like to know from the people who answer if you are Christian or not. We are...and that is why I feel like God may want us to help her more than I feel like I can give. I do not want to put my home in danger. I am 19 weeks pregnant and am not sure if I can handle this stress.

My wife is black and I am white. The problem is her mother's side of the family. When my wife is with them, she becomes, for a lack of a better term , ghetto. But, when she is with her father's side, they act more like normal society; ie. dignified and with couth. Thanksgiving was a nightmare for me. Her mother's side started telling white jokes at the dinner table and then after, put in a DVD of a comedian who went on for over 30 minutes "cracker bashing." Her father just recently moved out of state so we are stuck with her mother's side. I begged her not to commit us to Christmas dinner with her mom, but to no avail. I tried to express my feelings, asking her how she'd feel if she were with my family and they started telling "*** ger" jokes. She said she understands, but insists on putting me through this again. Any help on this ratially insensitive group would really help me. It's causing quite a strain on our relationship.
