The band that we hired is a 14 piece big band ensemble. They can play anything from light jazz to swing to all out rock and roll. The only thing is that we do not want a singer so all music will be strictly instrumental. Any song ideas that will sound great and recognizable in just instrumental form?? We are surely going to have some different songs, but I'm stuck as far as choosing songs that people might consider "mainstream."

Thanks!!!!

Has anyone seen the bride sing at her own wedding before?? If so, how was she recieved? If not, what do you think?

I have a fairly nice voice and would definetly practice a lot with my band ahead of time. But I wanted to sing Norah Jones' "Come Away With Me" as a romantic surprise to my husband-to-be. I know he would like it, but I'm worried about how the guests in general will appreciate it. It's my wedding, but I don't want people to say I'm the weirdo bride who tried to go all American-Idol at her wedding!

Any comments, advice, suggestions appreciated!!

I have asked him to take me places and do things together, but we don't and I have to listen to stories of his past life with her and the great times that they had.....We do have 4 kids, 1 is mine, 2 are his and 1 is ours, Can anyone help me out? Give me some ideas? Will it always be this way?

I'm 58, single, disabled, on Social Security. Can I Still Find Love? I have tried the on-line dating a few times. I go to the Christian groups, because I'm from a Christian background; I don't have any success, because they all want someone who #1 isn't looking for sex (I am), or they want someone who is "financially $ecure." (rich) I don't even have the $$ for a car these days, so I have to take the bus half-way somewhere, just to get picked up for a date. Most women don't want to drive the guy. And I am so broke, I can't afford more than one "cheap date" a month. Hopefully, in tne next 6 months, that will change. Are there any real quality women out there who just want quality companionship? Or am I dreaming? I'm really a nice guy. Where did all the nice women go?

I've been working with this girl since August, and we've hit it off pretty well, we like each other, abnd recently we've started to go out to town, the bars and clubs, together.

On wednesday I texted her, asking her if there could ever be more to us than 'just friends'.

Yet she still, hasn't replied, what do I do? Do I text her again or wait for it to unfold by itself?

I have been with my girlfriend for 6 months, (known her for a year and a half). She told me that I am the most important thing in her life and that she loves me. The sad thing is that she has been supported by her grandparents all of her life because her parents left her when she was a baby. She is the last person anyone would want to hurt. She is sweet and caring and I know she would never cheat on me..
Yet, when I first met her I didnt think she would be someone I would date because she was a little bit too heavy for me. We became friends however and she gradually lost most of the weight.. I then started to find her somewhat attractive and to make a long story short.. asked her out. I might have done it because I was lonely and unable to find another girl. Her weight is still a factor however.
When I am with her/ around her, I have this feeling of "Do I really want to be with her?"
She tells me that I love her too because she "sees it in my eyes".
What do I do?

I have just moved into a new place which is owned by a bloke. We get on really well to say that we have only know each other a couple of months. The thing is everytime we have a drink or get drunk we end up kissing and fooling around although haven't had full sex. I really want to and so does he but I keep on stopping it from happening because at the end of the day he is my landlord. He is single and so am i. Is it wrong?????

How to deal with constant feeling of insecurity, which repells people? How to get a grip over it and not let it be overbearing?

I had a huge fight with my wife last night and then went out to a bar, picked up a girl and cheated on my wife. We are both in the military and she is actually pregnant. I did not mean for things to go this far, but they did. What do I do?

She would never cheat on me. We are totally in love. She works a couple late nights at a hotel, and hangs out with some co-workers after work. They got her really drunk and stoned one night, passed out and freaked me out. I had the cops looking for her for about three hours until she finally woke up and called. She was totally embarressed and upset with herself. I keep telling her that i have to meet these people, because she is always going to hang out with them. If i know them I think I won't be so concerned when she is hanging out with them, and I am not around. Also, I hate it when she gets stoned (about once a week) and these guys I have been talking about provide her with it. I don't want to push her away, but want her to change her behavior. Any help would be great!!

He has not been communicating, but has been receiving 2-3 messages of mine? He overlooks his faults and finds flaws in mine.
He seems to be angry and has been turning down my calls.
Will he call me or communicate with me or meet me?
