It can't be that classic, I've never ever used it, nor have I ever heard it being used apart from on TV

I didn't threaten to scratch her eyes out but I poured a pint over her! I did then threaten to hit her but she ran away because she was scared of me! It's a long story but believe me, I was justified!

I've threatend to my mates that I'll scratch some girls eyes out if she looks at my man like that again! (A long time ago) More often I threaten to rip their whole head off!

No I say 'I'm gonna rip your fookin face off' or 'punch your fookin head in' - think that that is girly phrase tho especially where I live!

I've used it when extremely angry.
I think it's an English phrase-I'm English and I've heard countless times. But it's not always said by girls!
