Ok at my school there are a couple of guys that I think are cute. They make eye contact at me and smile but then I find out that they are taken. What should I do and why does this happen to me?!!

Well don't go around helping them cheat on their GF. You should move along and find someone else....

You don't have to meet guys at school. But I'd suggest be patient. When we are young, we tend to want to rush into so many things that could possibly be the wrong thing. We also want to have what others have. Not everyone has to have a boyfriend or girlfriend. If you don't have one, don't make it a priority to go searching for one. When you become desperate, or trust there will be some guys out there trying to use you for whatever personal need they choose. Even if a guy has a girlfriend, doesn;t mean he isn't two timing her, or worse! He could be abusive, crazy or just plain stupid. That goes for guys in desperate need of a girlfriend. Let your emotions flow freely, at the same time, don't get caught in thinking you need something so soon that you really don't, especially not while you're so young and in school. Put your goals first, because some people tend to fall in love so fast and forget about their importance in finishing school, getting that good education that can lead them to a promising job. You can't depend on someone to take care of you. Think about all this, now does a boyfriend seem that important? No, honey, it doesn't. If you have yourself together, no worries of set backs then go for it! Be wise, I've been there!

If you are in a hurry for a relationship--or any hurry for that matter, you become prone to making mistakes. Everyone you know probably has a terrible relationship story that probably could have been avoided by not rushing into things and backing off when they see something wrong.

Want to be happy? Undo the nature of "fast-food" relationships and enjoy the process of taking it slow. Or call me. :)

Sorry to break it to ya sweety, but there's nothing you can do about that. Yea, it's like what they say about the good/ cute guys always being taken. Someday you will get yours, just be sure everyone knows he's taken!

It doesn't just happen to you. It happens to a lot of people. But it doesn't mean you won't ever find someone. School is not the entire world, its a rather small world actually. Be patient, not desperate, and meanwhile just be yourself, natural and fun and the right person is bound to notice you eventually. :-) And make new friends, expand your world, reach out to new people.

Just becasue you pick cute guys that look at you and are taken, it happens to everyone.

The older you get the better things will be in the boy departement.

Most people are taken and those guys are just flirting - who knows, maybe they will be free again in the future. For now, find someone who is not attached.

I've learned that guys always like to mess around. They'll play with your brain and your body but when you want something more, they're out for the count.

because guys want to sleep around...and apparently they want to sleep around with you. Don't bring yourself down to that.
