I have been living with this man for little over 2 yrs, and we both were married when we moved in together, well i am divorced and he hasn't even filed and occasonally he slides around with his wife on the side and lies to me even though i have caught him over there. He only goes sees her when he is beyond drunk and he is with me the rest of the time, what should i do about this?

I tried asking this question before and left out a few details - so I"ll try again. My 30 something year old brother is being irresponsible with his money and his life basically...he has a wife and 2 kids and has never kept a job longer than a few years. They've been homeless, they've been foodless and they've been car-less. The more and more time that goes by that I don't say anything we grow apart more and more. I care more about my brother than I do about the irresponsible life he's leading. I miss him in my life, I miss him in my kids lives....do I tell him or just let him do his thing? He and his wife are very self involved and I think saying something will only make him drift further away, but I'm afraid trying is the only way I'll ever know.

I'm 26 and feel I've made a huge mistake. There are no kids involved and it has been an uphill struggle from the time our plane landed from the honeymoon. We fight about everything. i want to change myself, for the better. i want to be how i used to be; fun, carefree, positive. my change to a more negative plane has pushed away the love of my life. by negative i mean, i complain, i *****, i sulk, i get panic attacks. i'm always find the negative in things. this isn't me. any tips on how to get back in the right direction?

He broke up with me in September, we were together for 3 years. We both still care about each other but I am still quite bitter about how he broke up with me, tho. He's with someone else right now, he dumped me over the phone and no more than 20 hours he was out to pursue someone else. And i'm sure there was overlap between there. I'd like to get him something for christmas tho, just to say i'm thinking of him, yet not crossing any lines, and I guess a little but, (this may sound bad) but I'd like to give him something for christmas, almost in a way to show him i am the bigger person. well basically there's this guy who is playing with my feelings

he acted as if he was my boyfriend making me feel special
dedicated all his time with me and seemed really nice
then he changes suddenly and ignores my calls/txts
going partying and only remembering me when he's drunk

i saw him today and confronted him asking what the hell is going on
he replied nothing and seemed like in a hurry
when asked if he still likes me/missed me he looks down to the floor and says yeah...
when i questioned where the affection he displayed before has gone, he gave me a pathetic hug
an excuse to avoid the conversation, he said he still got a hangover, too tired and his friends were waiting.
i asked when he will call or see me again, he said i'll tell you later.
and reminded me he didn't want a girlfriend
(i never said i wanted him to be my bf)

and pretend i am going out with friends for a drink
then i'd only pick up his 2nd call

My wife and I have been together for 8 years and have 2 boys 6 and 4. Just found out my wife has cheated on me and was planning on doing it again until I intercepted her email. I want to forgive her for our children's and marriages sakes. I also cheated on her about 2 years ago but much longer (6 months and over 30 times with same woman) and understand why a spouse cheats. Someone pays attention to them when you aren't and that is how it begins, that's how I screwed up and kept screwing up. I have a very hard time getting over mental images of my wife with another man but imagine she would have the same problems if she knew of my affair. I am just looking for input as to how to forgive and forget, every time I am getting angrier and angrier I have to remind myself that I did this on a much larger scale for a longer period and a very different depth of deception. I just need help letting go of it all so we have a chance of making this work.
