He is probably a little of both, but please don't pay any attention to him. Sounds like bad news.
Try this....just don't speak to him anymore, don't even give him the pleasure of you attention.
You don't need that kind of attention.

I think he's disrespectful of your relationship with your bfn. Maybe he feels better about himself cutting in where he doesn't belong.
