my new husband and his exwife plan on going in on a x-mas gift for thier son.they have spent alot of time on the phone going over what they are going to buy for him.this normally would not be a big deal but his ex has made our life hell.she has made it very clear she can't stand me and wants me to have nothing to do with her son(he loves spending time with me and no her husband did not leave her for me)takes my husband to court to get more money from him(he allready pays MORE than the courts require so his son can keep his lifestyle))talkes badly about us infront of thier son to anyone who listens including my inlaws.my beef is we have already got gifts for his son at our house why does my husband have go in with her to get a large gift together?he gives her a ton of child support so its not like she has no money.please tell me should i just let it go and not say anything to my husband(not that it would do any good he always gives into her) and let him buy gifts with her from now on?

My guess is that most of what she says she means..
My wife has taken on most of the responsibilities with the kids and house duties (her choice, because in her mind I do nothing right). But anyhow, we fight constantly over money issues which always come out when the kids give her a hard time whether it be going to bed or doing homework. Some of the things she says are outright mean such as she hates me, I am a lazy low life and I am the worst father in the world. The reason the father thing comes up is because she focused on my income (she makes more money than me). She always insists on fighting in front of my boys (8 and 5) and when in the heat of battle I cannot ignore her and therefore battle back. I feel bad that my kids hear this but what can I do. She wants me out of the house and says she can do better without me and the kids would be happier but I beg to differ cause she cant handle it with me home. I hurt inside, I think of myself as a good father. Is money everything? Help

My boyfirend & I have been together over 2 years. We've had our share of problems & broken up a couple times. Both times we ended up back together cause he said that he just couldn't get me off his mind & that when he thought about dating other women he thought about me & compared them all 2 me. We've been back together about 6 months & we're expecting a baby. We don't live together I have my house in another town-he still lives with his parents. (He's 28;I'm 25) He's very involved in his community & doesn't want 2 leave. I am willing 2 accept that & move there 2 be with him. We're both in debt & when we talk about moving in together he says we just can't afford it. While talking about our relationship recently he broke down & cried & told me that he has ruined every relationship he has ever been in. He said that he's afraid 2 commit but I wander if it's more. Some of you may remember a previous question I asked. A close friend who I care for deeply divulged how he felt about me. We are both in other relationships. I asked you, the public if I should divulge that I felt the same...the consensus was yes.

Well, I did. So, he breaks up with his girlfriend. We meet one evening and agree that once his house sells I will leave my partner (we live together), he and we will get married and build a house together.

Then the next day he says he thinks it was rash and that we should get to know each other better first (we have known each other 2 years). And he gets back together with his girlfriend. He says he still feels the same about me but if it is meant to be it will. What the F***CK. I am so sad and confused. I told him whatever happened we would be friends, now I am so hurt I just don't know. He still wants to spend time with me. Any feedback or opinions would be great.

Here is my story,

IOn April of this year my b/f proposed to me. His parents live in west coast and i always wanted to go there, my b/.f knew that, and he never wanted to move even when his mom asked to, however since he knew i wanted to move he said ok, but only if i moved with him. He got a good job as a teacher. A few months ago i notice something differnt, i mean we girls know when something is wrong. Well besides that, he always told me that he was in trouble and doing things he was not suppose to when he was younger, n he felt that god would not forgive him for those things n that he always thought he was going to die young. i founded out he started taking to a lady that has a kid in that school, he promised that he just depres needed some one to talk to, i broke of the engagement, but i forgived him after all, i know he loves me, but i cant seem to forget!
