My boyfriend is amazing. Our relationship is the greatest I have ever known and better than most of my friend's relationships. The only problem is, he has recently began pressuring me for sex. I already told him I want to wait for marriage. Most people would say "Leave him, he's not good enough for you." But I want to spend the rest of my life with him. And he feels the same way about me. I don't want to lose him over this! What do I do?

I have horrible self image issues..This guy at work, Matt, I like, and he likes me too, he basically told me. When I look in the mirror, i dont see why he would be attracted to me. I see a fat, ugly, mis-shapen girl. So why do boys like me alot? Wouldnt they rather have the cute girls? I dont want to pursue it with Matt because I feel like im not good enough for him.

There's a guy I like from my work place. He's extremely shy, but I'd still like to get to know him better, even just as friends.

Note: I'm trying to get to know him better & be friends, not ask for a date!

Anyway, in person we talk quite a bit. Not a terrible lot, because, like I said, he's shy. But he'll talk to me about as much as a normal person would. I take talking to me a normal amount as a good sign! lol

Online, though, it gets weird and we don't talk very much at all. I'd like to talk to him more, though, because we're never truly alone at work and so I think it'd be a good chance for us to get to know each other better.

HOw should I talk to him to get him to type/talk more online? I know he wants to talk because he's mentioned looking for me online on a few occasions, saying I need to sign on more. I figure, he wants to talk but isn't sure what to say. What can I talk about that seems natural? & no suggestions about work. It feels like that's all we talk about!

if you liked a guy, and he liked you (we both told eachother) and we ended u being too shy and just kind of faded out, we never really talked to eachother or anything.
2 years later..i was talking to him about homecomming and he said he wasnt sure if he was going but he likes "some girl" and i asked him who and he said he wouldnt tell me untill after we graduate. then he started staring at me a lot and yelled for me to ask me a question. I tured around and he was gone so i just left. i still like him soooo much..but im not in any of his classes and dont talk to him that much. I want to ask him to the dance this month(december) how do i get to know him more and find out who he likes?

hey, my boyfriend and i have been going out for 8 months and its been a roller coaster ride because of our perpetual negativity.I know there are the things that are really bothering him in his personal life. he hasnt opened up much yet about things but im not going to force it out of him . im still waiting for him to do that on his own. but now it's getting to the point that he's constantly ridiculing, sarcastic, harsh and mean towards me and now i see my self-esteem decreasing more than ever before.God knows i dont have the best self esteem in the world right now , so i really dont trust my own advise for our situation. please dont suggest that we break up. i dont want to leave him, i've tried many times but it only made us feel worst when we got back together. how can we be postive and still be together?

My boyfriend is ALWAYS trying to have sex with me! I work almost all day and when I come home I'm pretty damn tired. I'd like to get a good amount of sleep so I'm not cranky and pissy when I go into work the next day. When he sits there and practically begs, I start to get pissed at him. And when I turn him down when he continually asks in one night, he gets that hurt look like I don't care about how he feels or what he wants to do. So of course(because I don't want to make him feel like I don't love him)we ended up having sex anyway. Not that I don't enjoy it when we do, but I'm always so damn tired the next day. What can I do to explain to him that I do love him very much, but he needs to think of how I feel and my needs too?

[my next door neihbor] Okay, so I was on my bicycle near my house, and my house is near a gold course, and I see these 4 girls walking up, and they said they were lost and wanted to get to the club house, i ofered to go and show them. I did. they were really prety girls, and I hung out with that at the club house for like 30 minutes, one even hugged my and kissed me on the cheek. they left, and I feel happy that i kind of met them [yes i will prolly never see them again] but i also feel sad, that i wont see them and i feel like i cant be friedns with that. Should I just forget about it, or go try to be friends with these girls, and show them how i feel. [i got ther myspaces]

My psychics (three of them) led me to believe that he would be the one. One of my psychic's told me that he would choose me over the "flashy blonde" one. I just met the "flashy blonde" one. She's half his age, I'm just a year younger than him (mid life crisis anyone). She's very pretty and actually even I like her (it's so hard to not like someone when you really want to hate them but you can't because they're so nice to you), and I'm not really that hot - no worries - not a self esteem thing - she's pretty, I'm not, simple as that. I'm not butt ugly, but I'm nothing much compared to her. Sure, maybe I'm the type that could grow on you visually, I care alot, I'm loving and warm and sensitive to other's feelings. I could be, and darn it, I am there as the one he come's to when he really needs to talk. Are three out of three psychics wrong or should I just wait it out and see what happens?

I told al my friends never to talk to me again just this week becuase they treated me like crap for too long. I found out that a few of my close freinds talked behind my back and my other friends just sat their and didnt say anything to say otherwise but instead just listened and laughed along with them. I have never treated anyone wrong and always helped everyone even if i need the same help. Now i just sit at home, play guitar, watch tv and study for the ASVAB. I dont want these to be the only things i do until i join the marines. What should i do?

My very first girlfriend I ever had called me over the summer and left a message on my answering machine cause I was out of town at the time. We dated over 27 yrs ago, and it seems like every 5 to 10 yrs she calls me. The last time I saw her she started seeing my best friend at the time and ended up marrying him. I didn't want to see her then and we left other than friendly. that was 15 yrs ago. On her message she didn't even say her name she just said it was Bobbies wife, but I knew her voice.
Why after all of these yrs does she have to call??

We have been dating for a year and engaged about 8 months, planning a May wedding. I also have a 4 yr old son from a previous relationship.
I lost my job in July and moved in with him because I couldn't afford to keep my apartment. I finally found a new job a couple of weeks ago. Things have really started to go downhill between us...he has shown himself to be extremely selfish and inconsiderate, but more importantly he has stopped treating his bipolar disorder and his behavior has become increasingly erratic. I want to leave him but I have nowhere to go, no $$ saved and huge debt from being unemployed for 4 months. I know if I tell him I don't want to marry him he will throw me out, but I am afraid to let my son continue to witness his mental illness. I have no family in the area I can turn to for help. I have considered sending him to live with a relative whily I save $ and prepare to move out "on the sly". Any suggestions out there???

It is not uncommon for wives who don't work outside the home and haven't for years to stay tied to their husbands who provide for them and their child. There is a certain level of comfort in being a housewife. It is not uncommon for such people to sleep in separate bedrooms and have their own life but yet connect as a family. I can imagine a woman who is accustomed to being supported will have a difficult time with a separation. She imagines her salary at starting an entry level job would cause her to be "less of a generous mother" because the time she devotes to her son/house would then be compromised by a job. She would have to get a smaller house. Currently, with her husband a man she don't love and realizes she never did thus feeling trapped into the "desire" to make the family appear okay for the sake of the kids. Just looking for some constructive input on this matter?

I have been dating my girlfriend for six months, I want to take things further and I'm pretty sure she does too. We are both in college and I want her to know that I'm serious about us and that I want to be with her, I have been thinking about getting her a promise ring for a while now, but is it too much for only 6 months?
