nothing wrong with it ... but i would defintely say u .. they wont feel the same abt this song ... u have ur emotions attacted to it ... very good memories to it .. as u say brain forgets bad memory but remembers good one .. so if u remember one particular girl then i will say it brings happy moments u have been together
one particular cinema which u have seen together ... one day u might standing at some place thinking abr her and hearing the song who knows she too might around the corner .. i would suggest try find out where she is and at least start a new friendship .... may not be romance but u will get peace of mind .. feel that u know she is fine ... ur always there to help her ..

AHHH!!! I know how you feel....When I first met this guy we had a really good time and I ended up falling in love with him. He really liked this one song and he played it everytime we were together. When we broke up....I would hear that song and break down in tears it was horrible, no matter where I was whenever I heard it it was like an automatic reflex. I told myself that when I heard that song and wouldn't just cry I knew I was getting over him...and NOW I listen to that song and think about him but I don cry, if you feel that way then you prolly are in love with her. When you are in love you tend to pay attention to the littlest things they like.

After years of breaking up with men (I have now been happily married for 12 years) I still find that certain songs I hear bring back memories and very dear thoughts.
I think it just shows that you are quite a feeling person - nothing wrong with that I say ......

Depends on the context of the song. If it's straight about being in love, yeah, you do. If it's about losing a love, you feel like you've lost your chance with her. Unrequited love means you feel unrequited love. Basically, the song describes your feelings about her and your situation with her and so it gives you emotions.
