Do you think that if your love for her was really real and so is her love for you then you wouldn't be asking yourself this question. You should see what's bothering you because if this is a problem now than it may be an even bigger one when you are engaged to her. Think deeply and follow your heart...

Actually.. now that I counted from the day my boyfriend and I began dating, and the day he gave me my promise ring, it was 6 months.
I think it is an incredibly thoughtful reminder that you want this to be more than just dating eventually.

Yes. 1 year for promise ring - then in 4 months engagement ring then in 4 months wedding. If any of these things are too soon you might not be ready --- too far apart then you're in trouble (lack of commitment issues come up).

I dont think its too early
If you are comfortable with the relationship go ahead with the ring.
I think it entirely depends on people, some can interact and know each other in 10 days and some may take 5 years
So, dont conder the time for making the decision, just ask yourself whether you understand her very much or not... good luck

Dude...way too early.
Being in college is way to early to think about marriage. I have been dating the same girl for two years...even that long has made me think about what I am missing out on.
Get married at 21 and wake up ten years later wondering where your youth went and all the fun you could have had by dating around....not a fun thought.

No.
Promise rings don't really mean anything anyway.
I have friends that have been married in 6 months...it all depends on the personality of the people involved.

If you are sure she feels the same way, then a promise ring would make a nice christmas present.

Have you hinted around to her that you would like to get her one.If you have done that and you think that she would like one then go right for it.If you think she is the right one for you and you love her then no there is nothing wrong with you getting her a promise ring.
