my sister is mean and always makes everyone like her more by making me look bad. my little brother is plain out mean and i hate him. yes i said it i HATE him. its a deep passionate hate too. if u were me u'd hate him too. they are both adopted. only me and my older brother arent. but i dont like my older brother either because he is worthless and he just sits on the computer playing gay games all day and never does anything to help anyone else. my sister is selfish and gets everything seh wants because she thinks she is so cool because she is 5 months older than me (no we are not twins she is adopted. no way would my mom wait 5 freakin months to have me. seariously ive had people ask if she was my twin when i tell them bout her. we dont look anythign alike). yeah my dad is always screaming at us for every little thing. my life is gay i want to run away.

Ok, so i'm in love with a guy 6 years older than me and i'm 14 which means he's 20. We're really tight and everything but he's leaving in a couple of weeks to go to rehab and he's pretty much all i have besides my best friend he knows i "love" him but not how i mean. I just don't want to lose him as well as what we have because believe it or not we're drifting apart and it's scary as well as hurtful. Help?

Well today I was explaining to the 13yr old girl I am mentoring about her firs period and she strarted asking so many questions about sex. Is better to give her books and stuff or actually explain? Ok so, I liked this guy for a while. I knew he didn't like me back but we were friends. We talked a lot and stuff and he talked to me half the time. So then one day, he decides he's gonna tell my friend that he doesn't want to talk to me anymore and he thinks i'm a stalker. why? I have no idea. I met a man through uni classes. Intially, he asked for my number and set up a time for us to have coffee and study- later that night I found out about his girlfriend. Since then he has been very touchy- hugging, patting my arm and even my leg. When he found out my car had broken down he directed me to a mechanic who fixed the problems and gave the car a solid tune up for way under cost. When he found out my job had cut my hours, he arranged for me to work for a friend of his next month. I respect his relationship despite the feelings I have for him and when I try not to sit near him it is almost like encouragement. What would be the best way to exit? I need the work but emotionally cant afford the guilt of becoming more entrenched with an unavailable man.

I just started going to church with my grandma on Sundays two weeks ago. The first week I went, I was sitting in the pew and looked over and saw my english teacher. I about died. She is not one of my favorite teachers but shes not evil or anything. I hoped she wouldn't see me but after church she came over and talked to me. She said "You lucky girl! You get to see me six days this week!" Then she gave me a hug. I was thinking O yeah, lucky me! And what with the hugs? She doesn't do that at school! Anyway the second week I pretended like I didn't see her and did't tallk to her. The last thing I want to do is see my teacher on the weekend. I know I am going to have to get used to her being there but how should I act. Should I pretend I don't see her every week or do I go and tell her hi. I don't want to be rude but I don't really want to just go up and give her a hug every week. What do I do? This is REALLY awkward.

My name is Lisa and i am a student at New York University.

I am majoring in Psychology and i am conducting a study on what the "perfect" young female would be these days (teenage)

I liked the idea of posting the photos on here, because it is simple and i won't be get responses from just young guys.

I have three photos used with permission, All you need to do it "point out" the imperfections you see in these girls, they choose to participate and none of your responses will be show to either girls.

Need your help again guys. All opinions and suggestions welcome
My Mum was adopted and never talked much about her real family. She had close contact with 2 older sisters but nothing else and that's who we thought was her family until last night.
I did the family tree and put it on a website, I get an email from a lady claiming to be her sister. I didn't believe her until she sent my Mum's birth cert to me and a pic of my mum when she was 5?


I now have 9 aunties and 4 uncles who my mum has never mentioned.. and I don't know how to tell my mum? If she never told us then she obviously didn't want us to know. This new Auntie of mine said she was so close to my mum she even named her child after her.
What do I do?
My mum has already had a break down. Do I bring up the past or do I leave it, throwing away the chance for my mum to be happy???

been dating my bf for 2 yrs. We broke up yesterday not because of us but because of the psycho ex-wife that he has. We have dealt with it for the 2yrs and I guess her last evil act was just too much. I just feel that we need sometime to rest from it and then get back together. He just feels that I need to go on and find someone new. My question if you truly loved your gf would you eventually try to work it out with her or because you do care for her not want her to go have to put up with the ex. We did end of good terms, maybe sometime, I think I just need to give him time to realize how much he cares about me. In the 2yrs we only broke up once for 12hrs over the same reason.

I'm a 23 year old male virgin at Stanford. I told my friends that I never had a girlfriend, kissed a girl, danced with a girl or ever had sex. One of my friends said, "Don't worry. You're not missing out on much. That means you've never broken up with anybody and ever had your heart broken, so your really not missing out on much."

Is this true? I'm not planning on having a girlfriend or having sex in the future or anytime soon. Am I really missing out on much?

I only guess I'm really not missing out on much - thats why I'm asking.

My best friend of almost five years decided to go out with the one guy I like yesterday. I don't know him that well but she knew how much I liked. She was talking to me on the phone while it happened and she asked me if I minded. I wanted her to do what she thought was right and between two guys she picked the one guy I liked and I hate her for acting the way she did. It's stupid to fight over boys but I think that it's more than that. Does it make sense for me to feel the way I feel or am I just overreacting?
