How do I cheer her up I don't have the money to take her home and she really misses them.

Take a loan out if you are able to make payments and take her to see her family unless of course you don't wan't to take her then send her on a plane. If she misses them relly bad you should at least make the best effort you can to get her there.

Smother her with geniune love and affection. Then buy her a phone card so she can call home. Find out what traditions are in her family and try to see if you can match something similar in your home together. Then begin a new tradition that she will look forward to each year.

Ask her about her family traditions in the holidays and do your best to surprise her with as close as you can to them, if you can arrange for her family to call her at a certain time on the day, if you cannot afford to ring them and keep it a surprise, also spoil her with breakfast in bed and any other priceless acts x

I don't know..I am sad too....I guess just give her a lot of love, and keep busy..Maybe even start your own family traditions..

If you have a computer and they have a computer and you both have web-cams set-up a video chat so they can see each other, or phone them and let her talk to them.

You should have had a cam and she can see them while they can see her and i think that will please her somewhat. Sorry she is sad.
