Ok,here is the problem.My parents are the type who don't want me to like anyone and don't want anyone to like me.So,they don't like it if I'm alone with a guy.They also don't like it if I spend too much time in a room with a man or men.So,there is this guy.I kinda like him.So,I was sending him e-mails,trying to be friendly and all.So he writes back for me to leave him alone.There is a 65% chance he likes me and is trying to cover it up.So, I went over to talk to him and see what's wrong.I never get to finish telling him anything without one of my parents calling after me. Sometimes I think he is the wrong guy,and sometimes I think he is the only guy.We are kind of cool right now.But, everytime I try to ignore him, my heart just can't take it.I tried to act mad by slamming books and saying I don't understand men,never will and I don't like men,and never will.He just looked over and sorta smiled and laughed.He borrowed my i-pod.What do you think I should do?Forget him or keep going w/luv

I prefer older men, not for their money or anything like that (I'm could care less about it, I'm not materialistic) but because I'm looking for someone with more maturity and wisdom. I'm more mature and serious than all the guys in my age group, they bore me, so I would rather spend my time with someone I can actually have a meaningful conversation with, someone who can teach me a thing or two about life. Anyhow, my question is: why is society these days so against that when 100 years ago it was exactly the opposite?

Which is more attractive to you. 1. a guy who is tall, dark and handsome but is a slob and has no style. My mom and dad have been married for about 20 yrs now and for the past month or so he has been stayin out late and always sneaking around with his phone, so one night i looked thru it while he was asleep and i found some very incriminating text messages. i looked thru my moms phone and they were not in there. im so confused on what to do! I dont want my parents to split up but im starting to resent my dad and kind of hate him and its eating me alive. i dont want my mom to be hurt and have them split up but i dont want my dad to be cheating on my mom and have his cake and eat it too! help!

I'm a plain ole guy with a set of traditional values and no add-ons. I believe that all this business about making yourself important by means of externals in no good. Clothes, swank, being seen in the right places ......No. I do not believe that you have to stand out from another man to make your mark in this world. Average will do just fine for me. I'm not a star and i well know it. I like to swim, golf and sleep (about 8 hours a night). I am fairly good at every sport exept basketball which i just don't like. My favorite menu is meatloaf smothered with onions and cake and ice cream. I play poker decently, collect dvd's, and always carry a penny for good luck. I have a lifelong interest in government and social issues.

i'm a guy and i think in a good relationship you should share everything but don't you think the world would be better if women did a little more of running things. the generally are more intelligent, they are more accepting of things, and generally make much better decisions. i think we should accept the fact that women are a little more superior to guys. do you agree.

My friend is a great person, really nice, funny, sweet. The other night I came out of the shower to find my husband leaning over the bed masturbating to a porn magazine. He quickly closed the door and I ran to the bathroom crying. I thought we had a good sex life, I wear llngerie and we have sex probably five times a week. And what really bothers me is that when I was in the shower he came in and told me to take my time!!!

He told me that he's been doing it for about two weeks once a day because he's afraid of being rejected.
I am so bothered by it. I don't understand why he has to when i'm there every day, and when I caught him I was in the shower naked!

My younger brother (age 16) brought home some Puerto Rican/Mexican Indian (Asian?) girl and told me that they were dating. My family is German-American (blond hair and blue eyed) and my family and I don't want latino/indian/black/asian in our family tree. It was an embarassment to see them together. I dont want her seeing my brother. I love my brother very much and only want the best for him - I dont think a mixed race latino/indian/asian would be that.

I'm a college student at Stanford so I know the whole "dont be a racist" bit. If you personally don't have a race (I say genetic) bias like I do then fine. But, it took thousands or years of evolution to get the features my family does (blond hair) and takes one generation to screw it up.

Either way, I will eventually break them up.

How can I break them up faster? Should I just talk to that latino indian girl in private and tell her to stop seeing my brother? Or should I just tell my brother why dating her is a bad choice?
