Unfortunately, yes. Guys that age have one thing on their mind, and it's not true love. Plus, women become emotionally mature far earlier than men, so a girl who is 17 is hard-pressed to find a man her age who can love her the way she needs. You are beginning to need a mature, emotional, spiritual love, and guys your age just aren't able to do that yet. Some never gain the ability, sorry to say. Just keep looking and have faith that the universe has someone for you. Humans weren't meant to be alone.

No its not impossible!! When I was 17 my friend and I stopped at a bar (fake Id) on our way home from a highschool volleyball game. There was only two other people in there. They came over to talk to us and I just felt a connection with the one. (He was 18) I really wanted to hold his hand but I didn't because we had just met. I told my sister two weeks later that I was going to marry him and we've been together for 4 years married for 1. I thought that it was impossible too. All the guys I knew were so immature and were only looking for one thing. When you find that special person you'll just know.

ohhh i am in the exact same situation as u. i am also 17. i have the worst luck with relationships ever. most of the guys at my school are *** holes too, which makes things a lot harder.
i dont think its impossible to find the right guy, but it might take some time. maybe your friends know some nice guys and would like to hook u up

Don't give up! Love can happen at any age! You do have to look around, but there is a guy there out for you who will hopefully love you and treat you right! It's not impossible, but when you find the one, you will just know....
You just have to filter out the guys who only want girls for one thing and find guys who are geniuine and caring...
