Personally I could care less what a man is wearing on his feet, but I'm a rare bird anyway.
I like a man for his personality, not for what kind of clothes he wears. Why should that make a difference at all?
If a man is that secure with his sexuality to wear pink sandals, then he is DEFINITELY someone I want to get to know. That spells confidence a sense of who he is without worrying what other people think.
You can't judge a book by it's cover. It's what's inside that counts. A man with a big heart is SOOOOOOOOO much more sexy than a man who thinks he has to look like a model all the time. Vanity is the most vulger thing in any person.
What makes a difference is cleanliness. An unkempt person is someone who doesn't care about him/herself.
I would NEVER approach someone, or allow someone to approach me, who is dirty or dissheveled looking.
(dissheveled means wrinkled clothes, stains, shirt partially untucked, torn clothing, unmatched, hair not combed or brushed, smelly breath, finger nails chewed, teeth not brushed, bad haircut, too much facial hair, etc. . This doesn't mean jus one or two of these things. A combination of these is what I look for.)
Someone who doesn't care about their hygeine is saying alot about their character.
How well can they care for me if they don't care about themsleves?

That is so true for me. I know it sounds really vain, but I know I look at the whole package when a guy comes up to me. I mean girls take a lot of time to look good when they go out, so guys should do the same. Nobody should leave their house looking all torn up. Guys need clean clothes all ironed and looking fresh with some clean shoes that match their outfit. That's just the way it should be.

Yep it matters! I cannot see being attracted to a guy who wears sandles! Just looks weird to me! I love to see a man in cowboy boots so I do usually check it out! WHY god only knows! My 16 year old son says YES it does mean alot- I guess they judge how much cash u have by either wearing walmart shoes or $300 shoes from Adias! lol PINK sandles? I dont mind a guy who wears peach or pink shirt- thay shows a guy is very secure in his man hood! v Doesnt care what others think! BUT sandles ummmmmm wow NOT

Absolutely. I think basketball shoes and Pumas are some of the silliest shoes around, and if a boy is wearing them, it will definitely affect my first impression of him. I don't know what British Knights are, but I think I could live with pink sandals, though. That would be okay.

Pink sandals!?
It takes a real man to wear pink footwear, guys. Really.
That only applies if he's a beach bum, however.
I honestly don't pay attention to a guy's shoes. As long as he's clean shaven and has nice teeth, I'm in.

It depends. For me as a girl I don't want my shoe game to be better than his and I have a varity of shoes in my closet. I don't know why that is exactly but I guess it's a psychological thing.

That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Any girl that chooses her man upon his shoes is incredibly ridiculasly stupid.
