There was a person who complained and whined about having no shoes.

Until they met a person, who had no feet.

Thanksgiving is a day for being thankful for what you have, not for feeling sorry for yourself for what you do not have.

I have a feeling your question backfired on you.

1, yes - for peace and quite. You SHOULD be thankful, I mean, at least you are having it. Not like you dont even have a turkey. But if you eat, and good, you will be happy. I know you are sad because you are going to be alone, so i also say 2. But maybe its not that ''poor, nobody loves me,'' maybe is that well they are busy, and they are at their own home doin their own Thanksgiving Party.

If u have a friend and try to call that friend so u can go to her/his house. It may not work so well...probably because he doesnt want to be bothered. But, well you could have better luck next year.

By the way, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! You are still surrounded by people in Yahoo! Don't be sad! Enjoy your day!

I am right with you. They think that I want to come across the street every year like clock work. When they really dont want me there. I tried to go somewhere else but lack of transportation and the rain have placed me alone in front of labtop answering your question.

Yes, you should be thankful... There are many things in our lives that we take for granted - that we never get around to thanking God for... And yes, there were (and are) people who do love you and you are to be thankful for them as well...

Well, in my opinion, if you have your health and a warm place to call home, you should be thankful. When I get down, I can always think of a lot of people that have it much worse than me and that makes me thankful.... Happy Thankgiving!
