There is this guy I like and he's confussing me, for a while he was chasing after me, but now i'm not sure how he feels. Some days, he doesn't say anything at all that could be interpreted as more, but today! he's like 'sometimes you say the cutest things' and 'I've already determined that your body is great, but you've got such a great smile too' and 'you can do anything to me, sign, date, address'. He phones me tons if i dont get in touch with him. Yet, if i say i'm interested he seems to cool off. If not he seems to hit on me, ask me out, say we should be together. What is going on?

My husband and I have been together off and on for 27 years but an ex fiance is my TRUE love and he wants to try to work things out. I have a 15 year old daughter with my husband. He's been moved out for 7 months, nothing to do with my ex. We just don't have anything in common other than our daughter. Since he's been gone, my ex fiance and I have toyed with getting back together. Do you stay with the one you've been with for so long or do I follow my heart and try to work it out with the man I truly love?

There is this guy who I have been talking to for about a month and a half now. How do I tell if he really likes me? It seems like he does but I know how men play mind games because we haven't had sex yet. How do you tell the real from the fake.

Hello,
I really need some help concerning this girl. Over time she became a close friend and I started having felings for her. A few months ago, i sent her an email, trying to start a conversation. I got rejected. I tried moving on but she keeps on getting close to me. She frequently spends time at my place (she just spent a week with me). I thought i could work on it. Today i learned that she told a lot of our common friends about the email at the time. I dont know what to do anymore. Every time i see her she spends half the time on the phone, talking to other guys about meetin gup and things. Please help me get out of this situation!! How could I bring up the topic with her? (A month ago i asked her not to see me again without giving any reason, and hoping she would ask....she just ignored me for a week before going back to normal).
I hope some people will pay attention to this post.Thx a bunch.

just found out my boyfriend has some friends that I knew nothing even heard of them. These are not new friends, we have been together for a while nowabout that he hangs out with regularly. I have never met them or and this is so strange and sudden. He also hangs out at this methodist center and I never knew that he went there why would he not tell me, he is not even methodist?

I even asked him about who he was with today (he was with a male friend of his, which i am certain of) and he says that he was alone at his apartment and he was not with anyone.
What does this mean?
WHY DOES HE HAVE TO LIE ABOUT SOMETHING SO SIMPLE? He says that he wants me to trust him but how?????

He also said that I am delusional because I never saw him at the methodist center????

Last year I contacted my hs sweetie through a website. I wanted to apologize to him for things I’d done, that got him into trouble with my parents who had forbid me to see him. We’d gone out for 6 months before he got sent away to live with his father… hours away. One day, our relationship ended with a telephone call, and a misunderstanding. I eventually moved away to a different state, and grieved for the guy for two years. What we have discovered is that there was never an official breakup between us, and that we loved each other very much back then. I I was never able to “feel close” to anyone after him. I have been in an unhappy marriage for 13 years. My husband knows I talk to my ex on the phone. You can imagine how he feels about that. There is no way I can leave, I’ll lose my children. I’ve explained all this to my ex and he still calls, and I still call him. When I don’t call him, I feel heartache. Do I have to let go and start the grieving all over again?

My boyfriend and I are very much in love with eachother. I didn't want to admit I was in love at first, but now i have decided to accept it.
When we first began dating he and I were very close, then due to circumstances we grew apart (not our love, our distance) We talked on the phone more than once a day, and were able to see eachother about once a week.
Then circumstances changed even further and We haven't seen eachother except for once since Sept. 18th, and we hardly ever get to talk. This isn't really either of our faults or choices. But it is terrible for the both of us.
This christmas though, he will be moving in with my family and myself. At first I thought it would be fantastic, but now I'm wondering if I'm going to have a problem with the abrupt change in arrangement. Will i get annoyed by him? Will i feel overwhelmed?
If i'm so used to not having him around much, will it affect our relationship in a bad way if he is suddenly ALWAYS around?
Thanks for any input ans answers.

I am a Pakistani American; I have been raised and brought up in the states. I was never born in Pakistan. I am an only daughter w/two brothers. I have had 2 arranged marriages that ended up in a divorce. My first husband was a psychotic, possessive, abusive person. I was married roughly for about 31/2 years, the end result I have a daughter with him (which he has never seen once). He was deported back to Pakistan when I was expecting (I was 22 yrs old). I stayed single for about 3 years after my first marriage fell apart. My parents received another marriage proposal for me, this guy was completely single but needed a green card and manipulated my folks for my hand (so in short he took advantage of my situation), as soon as I figured him out (we totally slept in separate rooms). I cancelled his INS paperwork, shortly after he disappeared on me. Its not the case, that I cant get a guy on my own, I am not awful looking (I always get hits from guys) – it was just that I was a good daughter to my parents and felt obligated to fulfill their wishes. Now, I just turned 28 a couple weeks ago, and feel that I should have the remote control of my life from now on and forever. I am single and dating someone for the past 2 months, which who is Pakistani (born and raised here) he is divorced also w/3 children (he has joint custody). When we both met, we decided not to speak of our past at all (it was his choice to decide this, he wanted to get to know me for who I am, without making any judgments of the past). For the past couple of weeks, he has been opening up about his past marriage, on why it failed. He has been noticing that I have been really quiet for some weeks, he has sensed that something is really bothering me, that I am keeping from him. Just last night, I told him about my 2nd arrange marriage, explained to him that it was more of a contract marriage. He listened, and said that he was hurt, that I didn’t tell him sooner. Not, the fact that I had an 2nd marriage, but, didn’t open this up to him, coz we spoke about everything that has happened in our lives. He said that he loves me, and what am I gonna do – if I have a third marriage….I told him, it will be totally on my decision, no more arrange marriages….he was just hurt, that I kept this from him for this long……what do u think is goin thru his mind?? PLEASE HELP

My brother is getting married next weekend. He thinks the dollar dance would humiliate his new bride. We were at a wedding last month and we saw the Italian tradition of cutting the grooms tie and selling the pieces to the wedding guests, and the money is given to the bride and groom. He really liked it, but would feel foolish as we are not Italian. I would like to come up with a few ideas for something like that as they are a young couple and it would be great if they were to recieve something to help with the honeymoon. Anyone have any good ideas?

My ex and I divorced about 3 years ago. He was controlling and abusive. However, he blames me for the divorce. He says that I should feel ashamed at where my life is and how much I have hurt him and my child.

We don't have similar values - his main focus is money and he always works to conserve money. He does not have trash service or home insurance. He buys things from the store, uses them and then returns them. He also used to change the price tags on items before buying them. I did not agree with any of his habits. He also is verbally abusive and did hit me many times during the marriage.

However, when I talk to his side of the family, they blame me and say that I took things out of the family. I talked to my parents and told them what was happening. They tried to pull me out of the marriage.

I don't know if these are good enough reasons to divorce or if I should just blame myself.

Here's the deal. I haven't dated much in my 22 years of life (hardly at all, really), and I don't really mind my single status, but I really wouldn't mind finding "the guy" either. About a week ago a man asked me out, and suddenly I'm terrified! I don't know why. I'm usually pretty confident and self-assured, so I'm not sure if it's the guy (he's quite a bit older and not really like anyone I've ever hung out with before) or if a sudden wave of self doubt has come over me, or what... Help!

I have a friend of mine from high school that I've known off and on for 8 years. We've kept in touch through the internet but haven't seen each other since high school. We both live in different cities from where we grew up. She's coming into my town coincidentally for about a week to visit another friend (female). A few years ago, we both admitted to having crushes on each other in high school. From a female's point of view, do I have a chance, and what could I do to help my chances?

My wife and I are going to Retrouvaille on December 1. I asked her to
do it because I felt we owed it to each other after 8 years of marriage
and our 2 beautiful children. She agreed, but only if:
1. We had separate rooms at Retrouvaille.
2. If after attending, she still wanted to end the marriage, that I
would not contest.

I agreed to the conditions because I at least wanted to get her there.
From my readings on Retrouvaille (I have
spent countless hours researching), both individuals have to be open to
the program. I asked her to go with an open heart, open mind, listen,
participate, and let whatever happens happen. I am concerned that she says she will go with an open
heart, open mind, listen, participate, and let whatever happens happen,
but does she mean it. She is putting up her armor to try and protect
herself. Does/can something happen at Retrouvaille that will break her
armor?

I am interested in anyone's personal feedback and would like to email.

I am a nice person, and people like me, but I just don't really have friends. I spend most of my free time at home. Do other people have this problem? I hate to go out alone so I don't often meet people. I am a pretty girl, and everyone I work with likes me allot, but when it comes to after work, I have no life. Any suggestions?
