I have a friend of mine from high school that I've known off and on for 8 years. We've kept in touch through the internet but haven't seen each other since high school. We both live in different cities from where we grew up. She's coming into my town coincidentally for about a week to visit another friend (female). A few years ago, we both admitted to having crushes on each other in high school. From a female's point of view, do I have a chance, and what could I do to help my chances?

To be honest I think you have a chance. and you dont have to do nothing really so special. I mean its obvious she is interested in you as well you two kept in contact this long. ask her since she will be in town can you guys have lunch or dinner together to do some real catching up. Show her a nice time and how great of a guy you are. Then at the end of the date you ask her can you guys do this again sometime and see what she says, if you show her a great time and treat her like a lady she will say yes and there is your chance to let her know how you really feel about her. On or before your next date, tell her how you have had a crush on her for so long and you are ready to turn this crush into something real. See how she feels about it, I mean ask her is she involved with anyone you know and things like that. Show her that you are really interested. All you have to do is be a gentleman and be yourself and you will do fine.

I would say take things slowly. Let her express an interest in you first then you can make your move(then and only then). Don't start letting her know how you feel right away because so much time has passed ( few years ago) she expressed her feelings but things/feelings do change.

My bf I have now has liked me for years and i didnt even know. He never said anything until one night that we went out and he kissed me out of no where. Its been me and him since than.

Just hang out with her. Show her a good time. Show her ur real side and dont be fake, Just be honest! Grow a relationship with her on 2 levels. Make it interesting and always make her laugh is a big plus!

Good Luck

Do some catching up first, and find out if she's still single before you make any moves. You'll save yourself alot of hassle that way. If she's still single then go for it. Nothing to lose.
