I am a 36 year old widow looking for good old-fashioned pen-pals. If I meet someone special great but I am really interested in friendships. I am wanting to move to Nort Eastern England or Scotalnd. Any one there have any ideas? I am currently living in Tennessee, USA.

He's great guy but we only get to see each other twice a month due to work and family obligations. Neither one of us has mentioned a commitment. I don't see myself as a big priority in his life eventhough he really likes me and would do anything for me. I am not used to someone so distant emotionally. Is it time to move on? See who else is out there?

Do they exist? For some reason, I'm extremely attracted to them! It's soooooooo bizzar! I've seen only one such guy>>> he was 19 years old tall, lean, and extremely, extremely handsome.... I go to a mostly white school right now and im black, my bestfriend is a white guy named Zach and I love him. We have been best friends all through elementary and middle school we were never ignorant of our differences but that didnt play a part in our relationship. Well, today he came up from behind me and started playing with my hair and hands and hugging me things like that. A couple of racists came up and started calling him a "n*gger lover" and things like that, they were saying that black girls aren't good for anything but laying on their backs. (I'm sure you know what that means) I could tell he was hurt but what could i say? I was just as shocked as he was. We couldnt believe that people could be so intolerant of our friendship. I guess my question has three parts, A) What should i have said to him? if anything and B) was i wrong in reacting the way I did? (froze) and C) what do you think of the racism nowadays?

My old roommate came over to hang out and talk late one night. I haven't seen her in almost over a year. My present roommate put tobacco in his shisha and let us smoke from it. 2 pieces of charcoal light the tobacco on top of the shisha.

My old roommate leaned across the coffee table to the other couch to get a blanket. She knocked the shisha over and the charcoal put holes in my carpet, FAVORITE rug, velour blanket and a black spot on my new coffee table from the charcoal. Some how she threw the blanket on my new(er) couch and now there are charcoal stains.

She said SORRY SORRY etc, but I am still very upset. Do I just suck it up and live with it? Am I responsible since was the host?

A few months ago I told this guy that I care about him he said that he already had people to care about him. Hence he didn't want a realtionship at the moment. I thought this meant he didn't like me so I thought okay I'll just try and be his friend.
After this he sort of avoided me for about 4 months saying not much more than hi and only if I spoke to him first. I knew it would be awkward so this didn't really surprise me.

I hadn't seen him for ages and I saw him the other day. I was just going to say hi and keep on walking but he started talking to me so we had a quick chat. My friend who was there said that he had a massive smile on his face and he lit up when he was talking to me, she said that he was looking at me all the time and only giving her the occasional glance.

I still really like him but don't know how he feels about me. I'm not going to talk to him about it again because I don't want to push him. Do you think he likes me or is just being friendly?

for everything. Its really quite pathetic. Women always start the fights. It's always the women. It is IMPOSSIBLE not to piss a woman off. And when I say this, women say "NO, women get mad because men do stupid things." Well since a womans definition of stupid changes on a day to day basis, its pretty impossible not to eventually do something stupid. The truth is, women have been so conditioned by the feminists to cry and moan about everything, that not even perfection in a man would make them happy. And watch, no women here will try and discredit my claims with words. They will either call me the "typical man" or they will call me childish names.

help me feel so much better? Why does seeing that other women who understand my pain actually make me feel better?? Seeing your "I hear you" answers to my "vapid emotionless wasteland" post really helped me to feel better. Maybe its like, I want him to hear me, I want him to respond to me. And he just doesn't know how. He's so damn slippery.

i want to know if the paperwork of my divorce will catch up to the paperwork of me getting married even if im doing each thing in a different state. i want to marry this new person and i told him i was never married before. i thought the divorce would go through but now its taking forever and my new love is eager to marry me. and i keep putting him off. so can i get married while my divorce paperwork is going through and not get arrested on sight?

I have a boyfriend who died 10 years ago. I dream about him once in a while, and in my dreams he never actually speaks to me, but i have had physical contact w/ him in my dreams, and actually woke up sitting up in my bed like i was really hugging him or what not. the person I like found out I like him and I just came back from rec night. Rec night occurs on Fridays and only people from my chool can go in. There is rap music pumping, people playing pool, air hokey, ping pong, foosball,volley ball, and basketball. They serve pizza ad candy and pop. I just came back and Kevin, the guy I like's friend, tryed to make him come over and tell me something and Kaleb ( the guy i like ) just freaked out.
