A few months ago I told this guy that I care about him he said that he already had people to care about him. Hence he didn't want a realtionship at the moment. I thought this meant he didn't like me so I thought okay I'll just try and be his friend.
After this he sort of avoided me for about 4 months saying not much more than hi and only if I spoke to him first. I knew it would be awkward so this didn't really surprise me.

I hadn't seen him for ages and I saw him the other day. I was just going to say hi and keep on walking but he started talking to me so we had a quick chat. My friend who was there said that he had a massive smile on his face and he lit up when he was talking to me, she said that he was looking at me all the time and only giving her the occasional glance.

I still really like him but don't know how he feels about me. I'm not going to talk to him about it again because I don't want to push him. Do you think he likes me or is just being friendly?

If he likes you so much why did he avoid you for 4 months? Maybe your friend wants you to think he likes you to make you feel better. I hope he does like you for your sake. Its very nice you dont pressure him, stay that way and let him come to you. i hope everything works out the way you want it!

Don't push it because he really likes you.

I really hate pushy people.

Well........he might've just been being friendly. I reccomend that you ask your friend to call him & ask on your behalf.
