And what does it mean when he says that we will always be friends, but doesn't talk to you in those 5 months? Because if he didn't miss me anymore, he would have a normal conversation with you right? He only talked to me like 2 out of 4 weeks.

well,there's no way you can tell whether your ex misses you or not,unless he tells you he does...if he hasnt talked to you in 4 or 5 months,i'd say he moved on and he's with someone else.im not saying he should talk to you still,cause that would be like he wants to be your friend,and you cant be frineds with the person you love.but at leats he should had tried to fix things between you two or let you know somehow that he still have hopes about you and him getting back together again.if he didnt do anything,it's cause he doesnt want you anymore.

This is very normal. He just isn't in to you so move on and stop counting the months and weeks. It is over. He was polite when he said lets remain friends........rarely does a guy fallow though. I think what they really mean is lets don't make a scene about this.....lets be civil. He doesn't miss you. If he did he would contact you right?
What part of X boyfriend don't you understand.
He has definatly moved on . Time for you to do the same.
