The odds are against it, but it is possible. The 23 year-old has to realize the 48 year-old may not want to stay up all the night. The 48 year-old has to realize that the 23 year-old is learning and needs to experience new things all the time. They both have to listen to what the other is saying, and make sure their emotional needs are taken care of. It may not last, but love is a beautiful and wonderful thing, even if only for a short time.

Sure they could. As in its possible. Its kinda rare when you think of it. 48 yrs of age is thinking of retirement and 23 yrs of age is thinking of starting a life. If the 23 is a stay home type person, does not want children, and is understanding that when they are 48 then their partner will be 73, yea it could work. The biggest thing will be about sex and the age gap. Women get horned up big time from early 30's to 50's and men ...... well at least most!

Well, age doesn't matter but there are things to consider when entering that kind of relationship. I have read a a question here in Y from an old guy also who has the same age as your hubby. He said they were truly in love but since he has more experience in life and has more wisodm than the girl, he often felt like he was talking to a child instead of a lover. For that matter, both of you needs a lot of adjustments so you two can still make the relationship. I also know someone who married a guy who's really older than her. The girl had to be really matured for her partner and give up her youth (y'know, the partying with friends, meeting younger and good-looking men, and all that stuff) which was hard for her; and the guy on the other hand tries hard to not feel behind (or too old) for the girl; but they really love each other so they've adjusted and it didn't bother them anymore. It's really hard to have that kind of relationship and a life changer as well; but, if the love is there and both of you are willing to make sacrifices; and ready to face the future; then why not?

It would be very difficult because as they grow older there interest will change very much, me and my husband are 13 years apart and couldnt be closer we r like on the same level on everything, but some couples with our age gap dont! You would have to make sure that the 20 year old is mature enough and is not wanting to still go out and party rather young to settle down with such a older person but love has no number.

Yes...
I presume the woman is 23 ??
Mature older men usually work out very well with younger women
as long as there is a good pre-nup so the young woman knows
she has everything to lose if she cheats...

yes, in fact that's cool. Just don't worry what others are thinking. I quit listening to the advice of others, especially if they have never found true love.
