i met a girl as soon as i came to college and immediatly i knew i could trust her with my life. but some really dumb thing happened that made me look worse than i really am and now she has a hard time trusting me. ive tried for so long just for her to trust me. and to like me more. ive sent her cards and letters and flowers and all the things that i think a girl would want. but shes still scared. we have never had sex and i never planned on it because she is a virgin and i respect her for it. she really means a lot to me and i just wish she could realize that. someone tell me what i can tell her to make her love me. what does every girl want to hear? Girls- what is the one thing you wish a guy would do for you? i need ideas

I am married and i think i have more problems than the average jane. I can start with the fact that my husband's mother is far more concerned w/ him than the children or me. I can count on 1 hand how often she has phoned this house in 8 yrs. Yet, she speaks w/ her son daily thru his work (im) They visit a lot whenever she breezes into town fr. N.C. She has implied the kids are not her baby boy's b/c they look like me. I try to talk to him about things and he acts like he is asleep, but the minute I go upstairs, he is up w/ the t.v. or computer or cards and eating & having a grand time. We have not slept in the same room, let alone bed in 4 years He more or less does his thing and i take care of the kids and work and do everything else, to include writng bills, etc. to run a house. I feel like I am the only adult in the house. He doesn't do much but eat, sleep and play w/ the kids when he has time. There's more but I have run out of words to use- to explain the misuse of $ etc.

and can't stop wondering can a man just stop loving you and move on without a sound, I am confident and will go on, but of course I can't help but wonder, who she is and how can he forget me so quick? I have been seeing this girl lately and I just found out that she lied to me about her quitting smoking. I never asked her to quit, although before we started going out she knew I didnt like her smoking cigarettes. Recently she told me she had quit, but just the other day one of her friends (whom I also happen to be friends with) told me she was still smoking and she never actually quit. She still thinks I dont know and I am yet to confront her about this (although I want to), but I dont know if thats such a good idea. I really like her, but I dont know if I can trust her now because we just started seeing eachother and she is already lying to me. Am I over reacting? Should I just let this slide? Or should I confront her? What should I do??

He does not want me to get a job at all, will not be supportive of me going back to school or help pay for it, makes me feel like a witch for wanting a job or going to school...accuses me of abandoning our child as well.
Im 26 and he is 32...this is not the life I envisioned myself living, he doesnt even seem to think anything is wrong.
He works and does everything he did before we had a child, and before we had a child he knew I wanted to go back to school...now he is just a jerk about it.
I am unhappy as hell, I feel controlled and bullied. I dont know what to do.
I dont even have any feelings for him anymore because he has been physically violent to me in the past, I never called the police becuase he said he would change...
I am always inside the house with our child which is ok, but I can never get a break that doesnt involve leaving the house.
I rarely see my friends anymore and when I do he says Im screwing them (there guys) and Iam NOT.
What should I do???

wondering which one lasts longer....i mean like back home in my country everyone gets arranged for their marriage and the divorce rates there are really compare to other modern countries. Is it becuz women don;t speak up...or are arranged marriages just better. If you fall in love with someone can't you fall in love with someone else to....i'm keeping it short but...with arranged u get to the know the person and all so its longer lasting is what i here....which one is better?

I straight up told a guy at work how i felt about him and ever since we have been talking and recently we excanged numbers i told him i would call him so my kids dad didnt throw a fit if he called at the wrong time and i called him last night and he said he would call back in a minute and he never did so i tryed him like 20 minutes later and he didnt answer and today at work he smiled at me but didnt say a word not even bye when he left why is he so wishy washy?

Ive known her all summer and her friends convinced me to ask her to homecoming. I did and she said yes. The actual dance was quite awkward, but i had fun and she claimed she did too. During the whole event, i was really sweet and nice to her and my kindness was noticed by her friends. A week later her friends ask me if i like her and i didnt so i said that i didnt and they said that that was good cuz the whole time she was bitching me out. Although i didnt really like her, i was quite disturbed by the fact that my kindness and effort was not appreciated. Thinking that maybe her friends were lying, i caught her in the act of actually doing it. I know that i should move on and i am, but this is kind of strange. Her own friends think that she is dumb for screwing me over like that. Im also quite cool with her friends and thinking of askign one of them out, but at teh same time people tjat are similar hang together so maybe that makes them dumb like my date too.

My neighbor/friend and I have been hanging out more recently but things seem to be getting strange. We hung out a couple weeks ago and watched a movie and other stuff. That weekend, my boyfriend came into town and my neighbor seemed a bit jealous. After that, he sort of stayed out of sight for a while. Then, we spoke and started hanging out again. After declining his invites to stay the night, I introduced him to my friend. We hung out a couple of times with her and partied a little bit. (no sex involved) The other day, my friend and I went over there and I was pretty drunk. My friend went back to my house to pass out. He asked me to stay while he left to meet a friend and promised he'd only be a 1/2 hour. 2 and a half hours later I woke up on his couch to see him walking by me with some strange girl I had never seen. I'm creeped out and furious! And now he is ignoring me and avoiding me all over again. What is going on? Why did he do that? Why is he acting this way? HELP!

okay so this guy Jerry asked me out a week ago and at the time i thought he was kind of annoying, at times his attitude bugs me, but he was really hot so i gave him a chance. Well somtimes he is all ike calm but other times he is like crazy and hes really into god and like his christian music sounds so boring and gay and sometimes he just bugs the crap out of me and i would rather be anywhere but sitting next to him, its kind of embarassing cuz hes so loud and says the wierdest things, like "hey thats brocks church, say hi to brocks church everybody!" i was like wtf so yah i dont know if i should keep going out with him or dump him cuz i guess he like rly likes me and couldnt sleep last night cuz i didnt hug him... wierd yah! what should i do!!
