My neighbor/friend and I have been hanging out more recently but things seem to be getting strange. We hung out a couple weeks ago and watched a movie and other stuff. That weekend, my boyfriend came into town and my neighbor seemed a bit jealous. After that, he sort of stayed out of sight for a while. Then, we spoke and started hanging out again. After declining his invites to stay the night, I introduced him to my friend. We hung out a couple of times with her and partied a little bit. (no sex involved) The other day, my friend and I went over there and I was pretty drunk. My friend went back to my house to pass out. He asked me to stay while he left to meet a friend and promised he'd only be a 1/2 hour. 2 and a half hours later I woke up on his couch to see him walking by me with some strange girl I had never seen. I'm creeped out and furious! And now he is ignoring me and avoiding me all over again. What is going on? Why did he do that? Why is he acting this way? HELP!

It sounds like he like you but when your boyfriend came by it made him jealous so he had to get back at you in order to justify his feelings for you. Okay in lamans terms he wants to be with you and pretty much thought you felt the same I mean in his mind you two were dating. Then out of nowhere you introduce a long time boyfirend were in his mind you are dating him. Not only did you bring a boyfriend you tried to pawn him off on your friend even though she might be cute he likes you. So to make his self feel better he goes out to and finds a slut to satisfy him. Unfortunately for him he no realizes that he has double mucked up 1 by being jealous 2 the slut 3 not making sure you felt the same.

It sounds to me like you both have feelings for each other and either know it but don't want to accept it, or you are both don't even know it! Actions speak louder than words. "She hurt me, I'll show her" is what is going on. Apparently you can't be just 'friends' with the neighbor. He wants more. Talk it out with him, but examine your own feelings first. You might be feeling more than you think. "Furious" ????? Look into your heart. good luck.

He's deliberately playing mind games with you, and he's trying to make you jealous as well. Why did you stay there in the first place?
